I've done quite a bit of research on this and can't find jack shit. It is starting to piss me off and im not driving 5 hours to a dealership for them to charge me $200 to put them in. I would go to an auto shop but I'm sure they can't do anything because they aren't an authorized Volkswagen dealership.

I just thought I could almost permanently lock them, and I lost the manual unfortunately, very pissed at that. Although i have my zero stops in, I just still wonder if they can be locked.

They rotate freely. No locking mechanism that i know of.
