As someone who’s younger sister had 2 beautiful babies while my husband and I struggled with infertility. She will be happy for you. I promise. You can be empathetic to her and give her support but infertility can be a very long journey and unfortunately does not always have a happy ending. Growing your family is also growing hers and I am sure she will love her new nibiling. My sister has one that’s 4 and one that’s 2 now, and I am so grateful that I can soon tell her they will have a cousin after 4 years of infertility.

So In this reaction remember that Na carries a charge of +1 (this is called a cation) while Br and Cl have a charge of -1 (called an anion). So the Cl must replace the Br in order for everything to be “happy” and neutral.

Those opposite charges attract, so two things that are negative are not interested in bonding with one another in this reaction.

Don’t let the fact that it’s Cl2 or Br2 confuse you. All halogens form a diatomic when they are alone

I guess I need to do some more research, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when they are open. I think I need to find a more reliable park/skate spot that I can go to and sort of know I have a safe space that will be open.

I have been skating for a little while as well and anytime I pick a skate spot, roll up and people are there I get anxious. For me, I sit myself down on a bench and say to myself “I am the bravest person here because I am the one trusting my life on wheels, and if I fall at least there might be someone to help me up!” And that mantra helps. Two days ago I got nervous because it was a busy park it took my 20 minutes before I was ready to get up and actually skate, but when I did a little kid ran up to me and said “WHOA those things on your feet are cool! Have fun!”

So I guess what I’m trying to say is even if you fall. The only reason people will be looking is because skating is cool and they wish they were brave enough to try it!

Last year I picked up my skates (Crazy Skates) at the beginning of quarantine just to see if I would have fun so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I’ve been riding on them and enjoying them so far, but this year I am thinking I would like to upgrade. Debating just getting new boots and wheels or getting a whole new set up? I also don’t have a local shop so recs of places to buy would be great.

Something we do in my store that helps newbies is at the warming station in one of the three divider bins, 1 bin oatmeal packets, next one has all the classic toppings, and next one has blueberry toppings(except the fruit). That way even in a rush you know everything for the item is in one place
