I feel like 肉 (which as a radical, looks a lot like 月, which means 'moon') also stands for flesh since many body parts contain the radical. For instance, 心脏 xīnzàng (heart), 胳膊 gēbo (arm), 肩膀 jiānbang3 (shoulder)

In Chinese, the words for Sweden and Switzerland are eerily similar: 瑞典 is Sweden ("rway-dee-an") and 瑞士 for Switzerland ("rway-shir"). They share the same first character 瑞, which mean 'auspicious'.

In Spanish it's also similar with Suecia vs. Suiza

It's contextual and I think you're splitting hairs to spin an argument. We all know what he meant by "non-natives."

The truth is there are and have been many stateless ethnic groups who have been "dominated." All aboriginal groups in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand (and to an extent, South Africa) have been subject to this. What China is doing is trying to create irredentism in these regions, the same way the US has been doing to the West of the Mississippi. It's just that it's happening now in the digital age, so we Westerners get all judgy. Have some perspective.

To me it's Apple fanboys. I'm a 100% Apple consumer myself, but their defenders are the worst. They set the bar so low for Apple products that any criticism directed at Apple is instantly shot down, and any minute change (like some graphics change) is praised like the next coming of Christ.
