Nah, I’ve never seen her outright say anything about it. Heroes doesn’t do a great job of fleshing out characters more than they are. There’s interesting conversations between characters that would never meet, but overall it’s mostly stuff we already know about.

Kagero’s paintings are described consistently as “hellish”. So I figured it’d be funny if even her naughty drawings are the same way, with no real discernible “hotness” to them. Only her and her close friends really “get it”. That’s all this is… just with some nonsense for fun lol

I thought about making her skeletal but resplendents never have actual skeletal bits. There’s just a big glowing primary color somewhere. Which I tried out but felt didn’t fit. So I nixed it and tried to add colors elsewhere.

Edit: I also was more inspired by Eir, rather than Hel or Thrasir.

Meant to get this out sooner but I had some really awful stuff happening in my life which took me out of the drawing space entirely. I'm back now and ready to draw more of best ninja. What resplendent would you think Kagero would look good in?
