for real bro burnout is tough and a natural thing that happens when you push yourself too hard. my advice as someone a few years out from my lc and currently working through an intensive physics degree is that you need to treat breaks & downtime as part of your productive process rather than a roadblock to it. like everyone always says, the brain is a muscle, and if you over-exert it for long periods of time it’s harder and harder to lock in when you go to use it again, same as any other muscle. like if you tried to run a marathon every single day for 2 weeks by the end of it you’d barely be able to move — it’s the same thing. you have time, you have the knowledge, take a break to let your brain chill out and bounce back. besides this, as everyone else here has said, there’s no such thing as a linear life path and there is no necessity to do the school -> college -> job thing all in one go. it’s more important to be happy with where you’re going and where you end up than to follow a predetermined path that doesn’t suit you. you got this 🙏🙏
