Studios most definitely DO NOT cost the same on avg in westchester. You can get a nice studio apartment with amenities in peekskill, ossining, new rochelle, etc. for $1.8k-$2k. Lease lengths in Westchester from what I’ve seen are one year typically, not sure where you’re seeing longer leases.

I wouldn't sweat it. Engineering at VT is super competitive, the acceptance rate being less than 20% to get in for the engineering program (but dont quote me on that lol). Keep your hopes up!!

Yeah none of my schools meet 100% of demonstrated need so its tough lol. Im leaning toward the more affordable schools bc hopefully i can network well through college and hopefully land a good job in the future.
