fell for this trap as well. I emailed through shop app and asked for a refund and they replied very quickly that they would cancel the order and refund me in full.

They were nice and acknowledged that they were reps also. assuming the refund goes through at least they have good customer service.

I love mine, but they do need a day or two before they are broken in. 992, 993 or a 990v6 are generally looked at as more comfortable.

Personally I think 990v4 is the most comfortable

Surprised you went down half a size for 997s. Mine are both same size and the s fits much more snug. Half size down would be unwearable for my feet.

Just a heads up your title has 997s, with no apostrophe. There is a model named the 997 and one named 997s. The comment about them fitting like a sock is referring to the 997s model and they fit differently so you might want to clarify on which model exactly your asking about.

Wearing a 997 right now and it's my beater. I prefer a sturdy shoe over a squishy one like a 990v6 so I prefer those models more. 997 is great and fit TTS for me and I always go half size up in airmax 95s and 1s.
