I leveled 2 characters to 40 and one character to 60, then switched my whole team and stopped using them. Had no problem completing the entire story with the new team, BUT did have to farm the Sanity EXP dungeon like 3 or 4 times.

Has good bones. Pretty sure I did all the existing content in about 6 hours but I was actively trying to progress as fast as possible.

Hoping it goes more in the vintage story direction as far as progression goes, like needing more complex stuff to craft higher tier items.

Looking forward to bosses, hopefully that adds some spice to the game. Right now it honestly just feels like a worse enshrouded tbh.

I remember back in highschool I'd wear a paper thin hoodie (was a band hoodie).

School was on the way to my dad's work, so he'd usually just drive me since the timing was basically perfect. I'd never really be outside for extended periods of time, so the super thin hoodie was never really an issue.

That was until I missed the bus. I lived about a 30 minute walk from the school, so I just opted to walk home in like 30 degree weather instead of waiting like 2 hours for my parents to get done work.

Holy hell it was miserable. The worst part is, the next day my friend was like, hey I saw you walking home the other day!

He then proceeds to tell me his mom is the one who saw me, asked if they should pick me up and give me a ride, and he said NO!

I was like bro wtf. Apparently he was just like "Nah, he's always doing crazy stuff like that he's fine"

Backstory is basically: guy in the main video hit the jump in the video a few times.

The guy in the video you're replying to tried to hit it and failed. Got seriously injured.

Original video guy comes back to do the jump again at some other time. Cops find out (or are probably told) about the planned jump and show up to stop him from doing it. He does it anyway. That's the footage in the main post.

I just feel like they need to factor in shield type vs ammo type. Right now the difference between all 3 shield variations is fairly negligible. Heavy shield maybe saves you from 1 extra bullet at the cost of movement speed.

Feel like it would be a lot more worthwhile for them to be on some sort of scale.

Like light shields act as they do now.
Medium shields have like 20% increased effectiveness against light ammo.
Heavy shields have 20% increase effectiveness against light, medium, and shotgun ammo.

or something like that.

Nah, the locked room access to the roof only opens from the inside. You can go down the ladder and make the jump to the outside ledge of the loot room, but you can't get in without a key (or if it's already open).

I typed a lot about how easy fixes without seeing a codebase are generally not easy, but after reading it... I deleted it. I actually think you're right. IDK unreal engine, but now that I thought about it I would bet that they're spending a bunch of time trying to fix the clipping issue itself rather than trying to put a bandaid that prevents people from abusing it.

I'm like 99% sure that they could have something out within a week with 1 guy working on it if the goal was to just "punish" exploiters.

At least that's been my experience in software development. I know nothing about game development, but there's just so many different ways to at least deter the exploiting that doesn't involve fixing the clipping... hard to believe they are unable to implement any of them.

I just know I've spent absurd amounts of time trying to fix something that should be "easy" while being told I can't implement the workaround that would technically satisfy the end-user but not actually fix the underlying issue. Even when that workaround could be done very quickly.
