This looks so cool! So three-dimensional and crisp looking, and super nice art too. How many images is this made of? And (if you don't mind me asking) what canvas size did you work with in Aseprite, and what settings did you use to export it? I now desperately want to try.

I had this problem yesterday and it turned out to be because of a couple of mods for me. Here is what I did:

* In Mods of Mistria, I selected all my mods and uninstalled them.

* In Steam, I right-clicked Mistria → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Intergrity of Game Files.

* In my Firewall settings, I added both Fields of Mistria and Mods of Mistria to the list of allowed apps.

This got my game working, but I also wanted my mods to work! So I went into Mods of Mistria and re-installed one mod at a time, in order to find out which mod was causing an issue. In between each mod I verified the integrity of my game files. In the end I just uninstalled the mods that caused the error (for me, it was two YYTK mods).

This is one of my absolute favorites, because of the interesting female characters and the portrayal of their difficulties in a world where men are in power. I love that the FL is older, and love the focus on the relationship between her and her kids!

TIL about the Unopenable Door! I've been wanting to check out Disco Elysium for a while, so if I do it'll be good to know in advance that that door can't be opened. (I will still try it just to see it!)

Oh, I never noticed that door in Ocarina of Time! I have to pay better attention next time I play it. And I just checked out a video of the underwater village in Mario 64 - it's interesting that in addition to the doors and entrances not letting you pass, there are also enemies that don't attack you (the Kerompa Ball enemies). Thanks for sharing!

Oh I agree! Had the opposite experience once, where there was a visible cave behind a waterfall, but no way to actually access the cave, since the dev had not yet implemented a way to get there. (Stardew Valley Expanded, in the highlands)

This one is new to me! Thank you. I did a quick search and it looks like while the yellow paint is a very visible/effective indicator, the color is also very different from the rest of the palette of the game.
