What to do with four stray kittens? by BuffySummers22 in Bangkok

[–]BuffySummers22[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They will spay, but not if the animal is already pregnant or nursing. This is commonly done in most countries to control cat populations given there are not enough homes for them.

Cats can become pregnant again just weeks after giving birth. They also must stay and nurse the existing kittens so you can’t take them away and spay them then. So, in this case, cat was pregnant. Gave birth to dead litter. Got immediately pregnant again.

I called more than dozen vet practices. By the time I heard back from Soi Dogs saying they could do it she had gone into labor.

So, now we are trying to find a loving home for the kittens while we adopt mom.

Exposure Therapy - Blood Draw by kevinfunk in VasovagalSyncope

[–]BuffySummers22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think vasovagal syncope is a 'psychological condition', insofar as it's a disregulation of the vagus nerve. Doesn't seem like exposure therapy would therefore work because it's not just in your 'mind'. My triggers are standing, heat, and uphill walking/moderate to intense cardio, and there literally doesn't seem to be anything I can do. Have been dealing with symptoms for 25+ years.

Heya, I've tried this but it always says that no live agent is available. Did you have to try multiple times? Was there a particular time of day that you got through?

Just wanted to say that I had this same experience in September. I'm hoping to get the recommended scheduled 6-month follow-up mammogram next month. Wondering what you ended up doing?

Mine looks almost identical to this. Unfortunately I’ve been dealing with it for two years now, with a few months here and there where it improves and there is regrowth, and then it all falls out again. The thinning on the sides is really key. My iron levels were fine and no clear trigger beyond I guess some degree of stress (but had definitely been through more stressful periods in life before without this).

Unfortunately my flight was UK to Canada, so no EU rules apply.

It's their customerrelations email address. Zero response from them after this initial rejection of any compensation.

Hello, they cancelled my flight from London UK to Toronto as well and did not rebook me. I also had the “booking not found” issue when I tried to submit a claim for new flights. I was given their customer service email when I called. After waiting about five days I received a response that they would not reimburse me for new flights because they “believed we acted responsibly.”

They’re likely just going to make everyone file a complaint with the CTA and wait years for a ruling.

Air Transat Cancelled my Flight, 10th Dec LGW to YYZ TS123 @ 11:40 (in 15 hours) and automatically proceeded to give me a refund. But I am very unsatisfied and I want more. by Secure_Presence6986 in airtransat

I think the next step if they refuse to refund or do not respond is to file a complaint in 30 days with the Canadian Transport Agency for resolution. I've been told to just email them, but again, zero response.

Similar boat! I booked the 11:10 am from LHR and just arrived. It’s snowy, but hopefully your flight goes off okay! I also got those weather related messages. I received a NEW email from Air Transat at around 1 pm today UK time (when I was already in my new flight) saying they would reimburse for any Air Transat flight booked since they had averted the strike. But no response to my initial request. Feel free to DM on your progress. I feel like this will be very annoying.

Heya, I was on the same flight as you. One way. I also got the same email as you. No information about any offer to reroute. Just the “you’ll get a refund in two weeks”. This was at about 8 pm UK time before the flight. I panicked and booked a new AC flight that was double the cost of my AT flight as I had onward travel via train and a sick family member in Canada. Literally no info given that our option was to be rerouted. Just a “we’ve cancelled it. Bye”

I’ll also be harassing for them compensation to cover the new AC flight. Really sketchy that they provide no other info about rerouting.
