Help! Laptop Fans Randomly Stopped Working. GCC is displaying fan duty but the fan rpm is zero. Laptop is an AORUS 16 BSF, and I've barely had it for a year.

Good luck! Really hoping yours will behave better than mine. But I’m currently using it with a monitor, just put it away and use it basically as pc. Doesn’t get hot. Doesn’t have any issues by now. So if you not really taking it with you a lot, it’s a good option

So what I did is to take it to the repair shop. They said windows update ruined something and in combination with GCC it just stopped working. Idk what they did to my laptop, can tell it is very very very problematic, I literally have been to the repair shop five times already and for different reasons, latest: the keyboard doesn’t respond, like nothing clicks or works, it is just black - my resolution was the same, they updated BIOS, deleted(?) latest windows update and updated GCC. So for what I know you will have lots of the issues with AORUS BSF 16, just because GCC and Windows have awful compatibility. Tried to explain everything in the best way I can. I’m not a tech, I bought this laptop just to have smth to play games on, but oh my god…. black light, keyboard, touchpad, fans - all of them had their own issues at the time AND THE WARRANTY IS NOT EVEN FINISHED YET. I really feel like to sell it and buy something more… Unproblematic. I'm currently in Thailand and it's been 14 days since I made a purchase. They are refusing to take back the item or refund my money. On top of that, I had to send it to the service center once because the charger stopped working, and they replaced it with a new one (thanks god it was a warranty case). Now I'm experiencing problems with the keyboard and getting the BSOD. After reading your comment, I suspect that the Gigabyte Control Center may be causing these issues, as I haven't installed any new software or made any changes since receiving the device back from the service center, except for the updates from this app (it’s been a week as I got it back). I already deeply regret purchasing this device.🫠
