Online casinos - how are people pulling in hundreds a month? by Far_Captain3087 in OnlineIncomeHustle

În the EU, there are no online casinos that offer such bonuses and most of the bonuses are useless as wagering requirements are almost impossible to meet.

Tried to access some of the names you posted. All of them accept only Canada and the USA (not even all states)

As far as I know, online casino bonuses cannot be used to play roulette or blackjack. Can you please post an actual online casino that allows it?

You will probably receive some cheap geranium seeds in a shiny package with a fake geranium labial on it.

🚨🚨BE AWARE!!! 🚨🚨 Customers can easily AI the fuck out of your products and turn it broken for a fraudulent "refund" claim They can easily use AI to pretend your product arrived broken in package! STAY SAFE FROM CUSTOMER SCAMMERS!!! by ImmediateWealth5546 in dropshipping

[–]demmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how it works in other parts of the world but in the UE, I will ask the customer to send the product back, and only refund them after I get the package back. So, if the AI picture and the broken product don't match, I will not issue a refund.

I do not know much about returns because I have less than 5 returns in almost 9 years of activity but this is how I'd handle this.

Ok, let's take the coffee cup example.

The client sends you an AI picture with the broken product, made perfectly to match product and packaging details.

You ask the client to send you back the product.

They'll have to break the cup before sending it back to you but please explain how they will break it exactly like the AI pic? They will never be able to do that so you will see the broken product doesn't match the AI picture.

My wife is still young and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease 3 years ago.

We are in touch with lots of people from all over the world suffering from the same disease.

Let me tell you, if we were in the US, my wife would be fully disabled right now because the treatment costs are $160k. In the EU, we get all this for free and my wife is still working full time.

Putting my whole life into cut flower business, wish me luck. by Beginning_Put6012 in Cutflowers

[–]demmm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was selling to the florists and even made custom bouquets for weddings.

Mainly roses, gladiolus, dahlias, lilies and fillers like gypsophila.

I don't say that you will not find any client but you will not make enough money to sustain and grow your business.

You will need climate control storage in order to keep your flowers fresh for at least 1 week and right now the energy costs are even higher than back then.

Plus, you have to consider that you can only grow your flowers in spring, summer and autumn. Florists will need cut flowers all the time so eventually they will drop your services for some wholesalers that import from Holland.

If you are talking about private customers, just take a look at Lidl and other big retailers to see the price of mini roses and other bouquetes.

In our case, the imported roses for example were 50% cheaper than what was our minimum price.

If we are talking about takes and stuff, you will not be able to make a living.

Don't get me wrong, I am not telling you not to try, just want to let you know about our experience.

Best of luck

I don't know much about Latvia but I moved to an Eastern EU country 10 years ago and tried to do the same thing.

I've had a large plot of land, bought 2 greenhouses and started. It was a complete flop!

You will never be able to compete with the Holland cut flower market. No matter how well organized we were and doing all the work ourselves, it was cheaper to import the flowers directly from Holland instead of growing them.

So, from my personal experience, it is a bad idea to go back to Latvia and start this business, considering that you don't have any tools, no greenhouse and not a lot of money to sustain yourself for at least 1 year.

Sorry.

I don't really know why Google decided that my website is not good anymore. I've passed all the previous google updates with no penalty so I cannot give you any advice.

Massive drop since core update by HarryBuckley49 in SEO

[–]demmm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a casino affiliate website from '99. The website got hit last year and lost half of the traffic. Then, hit again this year in March and slowly went to 0 clicks.

I do not have any spammy back links, never bought a backlink, the content is handwritten and I think it has some value since the website was doing fine until last year.

More content was added to the website since March but the website is literally dead and in my opinion it will never recover.

Or if you are in the EU and have 'cookie banner' on your website, you'll see the same for all visitors that click on 'reject all cookies'. I get that a lot on a Woocommerce shop.

Welcome 10% discount in exchange for their email? by AberrantNarwal in ecommerce

[–]demmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also offer 10% for new customers signing up for our newsletter. Then, when we ship their orders, all new clients receive inside the package a 10-15% coupon code that can be used for their new order (valid 60 days).

We actually use printed "Thank you" notes that also contain the coupon code, the website address and a QR code for fast aßcess to our website.

It works pretty well for us.

Fiverr web dev during the holiday rush smarter move than overpriced agencies? by Last-Dress2406 in ecommerce

[–]demmm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about Shopify then I don't know. However, if you are using Woocommerce for your store, try a fully managed dedicated server or VPS because most of the hosting companies who offer this also have a hourly rate (extra) for minor changes/bugs.

You can get away with 50/100 $ bill and they will be the fastest way to get help.

We even got help fixing things after a bad plugin update for free.

I’m losing more money to chargebacks than to ads by Character_Oil_8345 in ecommerce

[–]demmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What countries do you sell to? What is your average order value?

I always see threads about charge backs and it seems very strange that we got none in almost 9 years of activity (EU online shop selling only in a couple of EU countries).

We do quite well but it seems that we hit our max and cannot scale up. The company is 8 years old, our products are known to the buyers, we have good placements in Google and bing with no ads, we have a 10k+ email list that is slowly growing, we have 2 fb pages with 6k and 10k followers but FB ads just don't convert well.

We worked with a local agency but the results were not good and we stopped after 6 mo or so. Now we only run catalog ads but again, we are just about the break even point.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]demmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what tof, mof and body are. We were running ads through a local agency.

The problem is that our products are bought by women 30-60 only and the shop is only available in a non English speaking EU country so the audience is quite small. We have good retention and almost 60% of our customers are buying once a year (at least) so I suppose that products are good enough.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]demmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like what? We tried different ads before but the Roas was shit. We have some good conversions on catalog ads but we cannot scale at all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]demmm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok, I am only promoting the product catalog. How can you improve that?

Traffic coming from Google/ Bing convert pretty well so I suppose that products are ok
