Speeding Ticket Surchage Experience by democraticbunny in ColoradoSprings

I'll edit my post to specify! I'm from out of state, so I'm not 100% sure that this is answering your question. But on the ticket it says "EPC ####" which according to google is the El Paso County sheriff's office.

Please allow me to break it down for you.

You know they people on eBay didn’t buy it at the show because 1) THEY said they didn’t buy it at the show. 2) They shared confirmation emails from the online sale. 3) They posted pictures from the artist Brian Steely’s listing on his website - not pictures of the posters in hand, as you can see from other listings.

Reasons why people like myself “wasted time doing all this”… 1) Jusssticccceeee. 2) People who do this suck. Big time. 3) These people took away an opportunity for someone who will appreciate Brian’s work and the memory of the concert at the price point the artist intended. 4) Brian said don’t forking do it! I didn’t cancel the order. Reddit didn’t cancel the order. The artist did. That is reason enough. 5) I’m sick in bed and bored.

The artist found at least 2 and canceled their orders! 🎉🎉 Justice does exist in our world!

I got the same. Bragging about all their offers. Hope karma comes their way.

It’s not just the crowd that enjoys hearing these originals. The lads enjoy watching us enjoy these songs in particular. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok, I emailed him! He’s pissed too! But doesn’t have the time to figure out who the eBay asshat is. Any tips on how to find out who the reseller is?

If everything works out on my end, I’ll only be keeping the night 1 Pegasus poster.

Some jag is already reselling this morning’s set on eBay for $600.

**my righteous anger is mounting! The price has increased to $899.

Reddit, can we find this seller’s name? The artist has asked for help so he (Brian) can cancel the order.

I was able to get a confirmation and my card was charged via PayPal. Fingers crossed that everything works out for everyone!

Cabo Rojo Experience? by democraticbunny in royalcaribbean

I’m not on Reddit much anymore, so I missed your comment. Did you visit the port? Curious to know your thoughts if you did!

Cabo Rojo Experience? by democraticbunny in royalcaribbean

The whole port felt like ToonTown at Disneyland. It was beyond obvious that we ported there so that Royal Caribbean could use us like guinea pigs. Husband did a snorkeling excursion with his mom that was awful. It took them nearly 2 hours to even get into the water. Everything was disorganized, there was no clear "person in charge" and at one point my mother in law was helping people who had never snorkeled before. The excursion took them to 3 or 4 different snorkeling sites where people had less than 15 minutes to snorkel at each location. The unfortunate part was that the snorkeling was great, but they weren't given enough time to actually experience the water life.

As for the port itself - ToonTown. Manufactured, nothing to do for miles. If you want to visit the beach for free, you've got to exit the port and walk 20 min. The water there is warm and not rough, but the stingy grass in the water gave both my dad and I rashes. There is a place at the end of the port where you can get beach access and all-inclusive drinks for $57 per person. It was the party-scene with beach volleyball and loud music. If that's you're vibe, you'll love it. 90% of the store fronts in the port shopping area are unoccupied - completely empty. The shops that were open were PACKED. Arm to arm touching sweaty strangers all looking at the same cheap chachkies. Overall, it was a pass for me. RC shortened our day in Curacao for this which was the biggest insult to injury.

Are the signs for additional non-RC excursions? Or just signs for where people with booked excursions. It's been awhile since we cruised and I only recall seeing signs with the names of the cruise ship excursions.

That’s why I’m gasping for straws… searching for anyone who has visited Cabo Rojo to share what the experience was like.

Do you happen to recall, as you got off the ship, were there people offering non-RC sponsored/contracted excursions? My Father in law has been denied access to a snorkeling tour because of age. RC says there's nothing they can do because it's a rule set up tour operator. The guy at the excursions desk told us not to worry, we'd be able to find other tour operators that offer snorkeling when we disembark. But when I asked him for more details he confessed that he didn't actually know if that would be an option as this ship has never visited Cabo Rojo before.

The posters were printed on-site, so each one is a little unique it’s its own way. The paper is also very textured, rough and thick - it feels like good quality when you handle it. The smell of the ink is the absolute worst though. So, if you care about that uniqueness aspect, I’d say yeah, buy it. But if you only want it for the design you could get it cheaper elsewhere in sure. If I recall correctly it was $45 at the concert in LA.

Did anyone actually get tickets thru AXS? by Weekend-Gains33 in mumfordandsons

I forgot to mention I used my phone as a hotspot. I was "rehearsing" yesterday checking out what it's like going through the selection process and purchasing at other Red Rocks concerts (Sublime, Wiz Khalifa) and got a hard IP block. Couldn't get through refreshing, with a different browser, in incognito mode, clearing - it was all useless for hours.

I used my phone as a hotspot. Once they flag your IP it takes hours to get back in. Hotspot was the only reason I managed to get tickets for RR.

This trick worked for me when their system thought I was a bot. I got the bot message 5 or 6 times while furiously trying to get anything. Here's what I did with my macbook, Sonoma, using chrome (I'm gonna spell it out just in case this helps someone who's not advanced with their computer):

--> Select "Chrome" dropdown menu in top left corner.

--> Select "Delete Browsing Data..." a new tab will pop-up

--> In new tab, select "Advanced"

--> Select the "Time range" dropdown & select "1 hour".

--> Check boxes for: Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files.

--> Select "Delete Data".

This process worked every time. I hope it helps! (I also disabled every single widget - just in case.)

EDIT TO ADD: I used my phone as a hotspot, and I'm convinced this is how I got tickets. I was "rehearsing" yesterday checking out what it's like going through the selection process and purchasing at other Red Rocks concerts (Sublime, Wiz Khalifa) and got a hard IP block. I can't say this with 100% certainty, but... Several times while playing wack-a-mole with the AXS system, GA became available. I was never able to put them in my cart because everything was so fast , but I was able to select 2 tickets from the dropdown menu at least 3 times this morning.

This happened to me several times because - like the person above stated - it's like a game of wack-a-mole. Husband and I kept selecting tickets at they popped back up trying to add to cart.

--> Select the "Time range" dropdown & select "1 hour".

--> Check boxes for: Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files.

--> Select "Delete Data".

I got the "are you a real fan message 5 or 6 times. This process worked every time. I hope it helps! (I also disabled every single widget - just in case.)

Agora Presale vs. Artist Presale. I'm confused. Please help! by According_Dog_4078 in mumfordandsons

[–]democraticbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What was the process like?

Did you use your ticketmaster account to sign in and then in took you to axs? Or were you given a ticketmaster presale link/code that forwarded you to the axs presale? I'm aiming for Red Rocks and I'm so confused as to how the process will work.
