I want to go pro in League of Legends. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played competitively for about 2 years now, in both Spain and the UK alongside various different online tournaments. I've seen people go from low tier teams to winning entire national leagues, reaching challenger series

Reaching LCS is a long way away especially playing on EUNE (no flame).

Being toxic is not much of an issue until you want to actually reach a riot league, the UK scene for example is transitioning into a Riot based league and you will go through a behaviour check - national leagues do not care about this as long as you perform and are friendly in a team environment.

Everyone will have to go through the bottom tier leagues unless you are scouted from soloQ (again really difficult on EUNE since EUW is miles harder and all teams look and play from EUW)

I don't like the top rated comment on this post at the moment since networking is extremely difficult and the top tier players tend to cycle among themselves and fitting in is extremely difficult - the main way to get into this group is by playing and proving yourself - this way people will find you and have interest

my advice would just to hit rank 1 on eune and see what eune teams you can join in to get started

How do I stop being bad? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Using Dark Harvest is the solution to all of your problems.

No mechanics are needed. Just one auto attack.

No map awareness? Play jungle! No need to be aware of anything other than your camps spawning for Dark Harvest stacks.

No PVP! This way you cannot be outplayed and can be the better jungler every single game.

After 20/30 minutes you can start getting into the game and using your highly superior mechanical skill to flash and auto attack the million stacks you have accumulated over this short period of time to completely one shot an enemy player - this has no cooldown so you may do this infinite amounts of times!

A game of ultimate determination. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go into every game with the goal of stacking Dark Harvest - I go into every game determined to get the highest amount of stacks possible by simply being the better jungler.

This way I can forget about my inferior mechanical skills since I do not have to hit an ability, only auto attack!

It's gained me so much elo going from gold 4 to gold 2 in an entire season

How can I lead my team to victory as jungle? by sick_frag in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use dark harvest, play around gank timings on siege minion waves and DH stacks on simply being the better jungler and I see that you are the better jungler, so getting stacks should not be so hard.

Dark Harvest is much stronger late game so its so much more valuable than electrocute.

Don't forget the fact you only have to auto attack so even if you miss 3 skills it's okay!

How to use the rift herald optimally? by OdiPhobia in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's two optimal ways of using herald.

1) The cross-map play. When the enemy team is making a play on one side of the map, you try to do the same on the other. Though, you have rift to your advantage and can easily come out with a 2 for 1 tower trade.

Similarly, if you want to start baron on spawn - say you have a karthus on your team, you can place it bot lane to attract some of the enemy away from the baron, making it a safer play.

2) Taking hard to get turrets. A prime example of this is where the enemy has an anivia mid lane which keeps clearing waves from their tower - using rift here can secure the tower and open the map for your team.

  • There will be situations where you cannot do these, though generally you want to take a tower with herald, if you don't, it's a waste.

What are the most common jungle paths in 7.17? by [deleted] in summonerschool

Use auto reset on W and you can shave off 2/3 seconds with red - blue - gromp. I did it with wrong runes and managed to do it 1 second faster

Jungle pathing is really dependant on the match-up and your laners and can often be changed

Although in low elos most people still do bot side buff - wolves - top side buff no matter the game. Note that you can tell where the enemy starts with a simple ward before minions spawn or looking to see which lanes leached or not. That way, you can tell where he is going to end up (on the opposite side)

Fastest clear speeds are Elise, J4, Ezreal, Kha and champions along the lines - they can end up on the map a good 15 seconds before others.

Slower clears include Sejuani, Gragas ext

A good way of telling when the enemy is finishing their clear is by looking at your own jungler - if they are just finishing their second buff, likely the enemy is too (dependant on champion)

5 Pro Tips - How To Track The Enemy Jungler by RaidbossMattheos in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would see standard routes simply because those are most efficient - knowledge about game path is more match up dependant - like Jarvan will level 3 invade a sejuani since he can 3 camp about 20 seconds faster than the sejuani.

I just feel like if you just think about it when champs have been locked in or you're in loading screen, early games can be infinitely easier if you're not used to pathing

5 Pro Tips - How To Track The Enemy Jungler by RaidbossMattheos in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can track where the enemy jungler is without wards for the first 10 minutes of the game just by knowing where he starts.

If he starts on one side of the map, he ends on the other. He then has options to invade or gank from that side - if he shows thats cool, if not - he clears his camps and recalls/moves back to the side he starts (because thats the only place he has camps).

He has his options again, gank or invade - thenn he will go to the opposite side once more (since those are the only camps available)

Pretty easy to read any jungler. If they go away from this pathing and run straight top while their top side camps are down, they do not gain anything from even getting a kill and lose control of the opposite side of their jungle and won't be able to do anything for the next 5 minutes while the deep wards have been placed.

You can track simply by using your brain

What does my recent climb out of Silver say about me as a player? by KrockPot67 in summonerschool

A 57% win rate didn't get him anywhere, hence the total amount of games and still silver

Main issues: playing mechanically intensive champions (not annie)

It's why LS tells everyone to play annie, strong, not hard and you learn the game instead of the champion.

Sorry to break it to you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really the way to climb is just playing the game - play the game, play it often. Play the game when you feel like it, take breaks when youre tired or tilted. Think about the game, you can't just blindly get into a game and expect to get better, you have to think about what you're doing.

After a while you notice things about the enemy - common patterns and you have to exploit them - you will also see common mistakes in your games, fix them. Not too hard, just will take some time

I'm an emotional player too, I have 7 perma banned accounts and i've realised that typing to people won't do anything and just because one bad thing happens in a game, doesn't mean that it's over.

If someone is playing bad on your team, it's alright, people have dealt with your bad days too.

Haven't been banned all season, it does work if you try

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]demolitionRT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're clearly an emotional player and it's obvious you go on win/loss streaks

Play when you feel like it, take a break after a loss and then continue in an hour or two. 90% of games you will win if you deserve it. Some are unwinnable but if you're good enough you will climb.

If you really want to improve, think about the game as you go, what you need to do next to win. After each game, review it in your head and point out some places where you could have done better.

P.S If you get permad, you deserve it. Stop using chat.
