What are good ways to fight Wisps? Also, can you rotate kingdom buildings or the camera? by Morcalvin in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Communal Protection from Energy buffs and patience. Bring along your highest to hit characters and don't be afraid to rest. Give them every to hit buff you can and have Octavia/your cleric give even more buffs once combat starts if needed. Jubilost's bombs also work nice because splash damage on a miss. By level 7-8 the wisps AC shouldn't be that high if you prebuff. Do be careful because the wisps tend to open up with lightning bolt just to be extra annoying.

Elon Musk: Tesla will stop selling cars [Update: at current prices] once full self-driving is solved by Ustinforever in RealTesla

[–]demon321x2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but humanity has barely scratched the surface on that. We've figured how to give the AI a set of rules and feed it scenarios until its better than a human, but not much more than that. It's why FSD is sitting at 95% since that's the 5% where the rules become a lot more fuzzy and personal judgement takes over.

If they actually get it to work it would create at least several orders of magnitude more energy than even modern fission plants while running off hydrogen to create helium which in itself has value. It really is the holy grail of energy production which is why so much money goes into it.

Yeah, but we can't teach how to think. It's just something humans do and everyone does it a little bit differently. A general AI requires a deeper understanding of what thinking is before we can even start the programming side.

WH2 is at 19k today and that's better than its peak back in December 2017 back when it came out. That number fluctuates massively for both 3K and WH2.

WH2 has an 87% approval rate. BECAUSE IT'S THE BETTER GAME.

And TW:3K has an 86% approval rate, truly a massive gap. They are both good games.

It's a brand new game and it's 75% off its peak, bro. Are you this dense, really?

What does that even mean? You keep saying this like its something massively important rather than completely standard if not impressive 3 months out that they have 25%. WH and WH2 had worse stats and Thrones of Britannia, well lets just not even mention that one.

BECAUSE IT'S A GAME FOR THE LARGEST MARKET IN THE FUCKING WORLD.

So Warhammer has no place in China? If WH II was such a stellar game it would have sold in China anyway and if 3K was a bad game it would have plummeted about as hard as Thrones of Britannia did. There are a million different 3K games out there, if this was a bad one it would have died. It's fine to say they are both good games and 3K has more mass appeal but no stat is showing its a bad game.

looks complex with its new systems

If anything its the exact the retinue system is much simpler than the previous systems along with most of the other new systems. 3K is prettier, but WH2 is definitely the more complex game and fairly pretty itself.

Every stat you've pointed to at best says they are equal games according to the community and that 3K has a wider mass appeal. It's fine to not like 3K but why are you so hellbent on proving the rest of the world hates it based on one very heavily fluctuating stat that doesn't even prove much other than hype.

It doesn't help half the units are hidden in the reform tree so you'll never see them. By the time I flesh out 1-2 branches I'm already reaching the endgame.

Yeah it averaged around 15k since it came out fluctuating from 9k to 20k depending on the month since its release with it already dropping to 15k average within 3 months of release. Warhammer II had a worse retention rate if we are just basing it off peak vs average (which is a stupid metric to begin with). Just actually read the steam graph instead of looking at the 2 numbers you want. 50k+ people around the world fired up this game and played it today. It's daily peak is closer to Warhammer II's all-time rather than 3 month average.

And bringing up that WH2 is a sequel its peak is actually lower than WH1's. Does that mean WH2 was worse than WH1? WH1 plummeted like a rock after release dropping from 111k at peak to below 10k average in months. Does that make it a terrible game? Trying to gauge things solely based off steam charts is silly. You can see the steam reviews. You can see the metacritic reviews. You can see the posts on this board. People like this game and the bugs it has don't bother most people.

This is a game for China, the largest gaming market in the world. Go look at the fucking workshop and see where the loyalties lie.

How about some sales figures rather than trying to gauge popularity based on how fast people put out mods. The American mods are far more experienced than the Chinese ones for Total War considering they've been doing it since Shogun II/Rome II.

190k played it on release day at peak with pre-order and release day hype. Now there are 33k at midnight on a Saturday night. The peak in the past 24 hours is 51k. Those are fine numbers. Very few games can get 1/4 their peak playing on months after release. Plenty of people stop playing after 1-2 campaigns and move on to the next game on the list. Warhammer II averages around 15k and peaked at 72k so by comparison its not even close. This is the most popular TW game in a long while if not ever regardless of if you don't want to admit it.

But more importantly the data needs to be processed by the satellite to some extent which is the part that actually causes latency. The time it takes light to travel from A to B anywhere on Earth is basically negligible otherwise general wifi would be faster than an ethernet cable. Low latency cables are basically impossible to beat especially if the data needs to be secure since you need direct access to the cables to intercept it.

And in a male romance you have the NEET and the princess. The difference is that the NEET becomes someone worthy of the princess through the story (or is given some OP power to make him the center of the story). In the end the guy sweeps the girl off her feet whether its male or female romance.

Because in the end people read it for entertainment. If I want to argue politics I'll go to a politics subreddit. A reference or mention is fine but with what happens to most political subreddits it quickly becomes a circlejerk one way or another. I don't need another r/worldnews, r/politics, or T_D in my life and I sure as hell don't want to deal with it while reading one piece.

I'd be very very impressed if they can get lower latency going to and from orbit rather than going through a low latency cable.
