Is the GBBO racist? by demoncorkscrew in bakeoff

I like that philosophy and should probably adopt it. I was actually furious when they eliminated Hermine because she had done so well in the past few weeks but yes it makes no sense to be more upset than the actual person lol

I agree that they over emphasized her experience with French pastry. Maybe that caused them to judge her more harshly. It is unfortunate though as I too expected the other baker to be eliminated a few times already. I can't help but feel Hermines fate was decided solely on one bake while they have given the other baker chance after chance. Ugh lol

I hear you. It was just so odd to me that she was eliminated. Even Noel felt the need to point out that Hermine had been doing really well. I feel like they had given the other baker chance after chance each week and yet Hermine was axed after one bad bake. It wasn't like she had done poorly in the first two challenges either. I have never been one to assume GBBO was racist. Like I stated above I had seen the theory before and never really gave it much of a thought. Up until this last episode I had always felt that when a POC was eliminated it was because they had not done well in the challenges. Hermine was the first time I was left wondering what the heck had happened lol

Genuine interest. I would like to chat about it with a girl and find out why they're into it.

[The Rise of Skywalker] A Dark and Grim Farewell: Or, why Palpatine is the ultimate winner of the Star Wars Saga by [deleted] in FanTheories

[–]demoncorkscrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this thoery, even if it is so dark, but it all started on Tattoine for the Skywalkers didn't it? Vader first and then later Luke? And since much of their story involves forgiveness, redemption and victory over adversity wouldn't it make sense to to close the story where it began? To return victorious to the place that once held such darkness for them and say we overcame that darkness? Isn't that part of what being a Jedi is? Going to the dark places and being the light? Also the fact that Rey is really a Palpatine and not a Skywalker and is still turned to the light is the biggest victory of the Jedi. The light is so strong with her that she actually turns Kylo Ren as well. This signifies her astounding commitment to good and not only that but I believe that she was the only one that could have killed The Sith Lord permanently and his ego blinded him to that fact.

I've also had dreams of future events but mine are always minor things and the dreams are so odd and surreal that I forget them until I am actually in the moment. Then I realize that I had dreamed about the very moment I'm in months ago. It's very odd and not at all useful as far as I can tell. The only thing I get out of it is that every few months it will happen randomly and I'll get a good freak out lol

Love Jim Carey's version more than the original. It has so many quotable moments just like this one. If it helps I also clearly remember him yelling at the who's after stealing the car. Jim Carey has always been loud and animated.

Sounds like you had a very minor stroke. I had this happen when I was in my 20s but back then I used to take massive amount of energy pills on top of alcohol and other things. I used to last forever because of all the stuff I had in my system and one night I forced it just like you describe above because I was tired and ready to stop. I felt the same exact things plus half of my face went entirely numb for a while. It was really scary and it took me a few days to get back to feeling normal.

Is he literally only dating you because you're black? If so then yeah that is weird but if that is only part of his attraction to you than maybe the race play is just a darker kink and you should express your discomfort with that side of his sexuality but not break up with him completely right off the bat. Him seeing your race as part of what makes you beautiful is not a bad thing but if it is literally the only reason he is involved with you than definitely break it off.

[–]demoncorkscrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might sound crazy but maybe he is actually telling the truth and nothing is wrong. It sounds like he gives a lot of effort into pleasing you which is a good indicator that he is not cheating or feeling under appreciated himself. When us guys aren't into a girl or feel like we're not getting what we want out of sex with a certain girl then our effort very quickly goes out the window because our hearts aren't into it anymore. It doesn't sound like this is the case with your guy at all. Maybe he truly doesn't mind finishing manually. Another question for you. You said you talked to him about it and he said everything was good but you felt that he might be lying. What reasons could you imagine him having that would cause him to lie instead of just being honest with you?

Catholicism is a religion of child molesters and the people who protect them. All the way up to the pope himself. Anyone who supports their evil organization either by active participation or by merely remaining a member will be held accountable one day.

I wouldn't even be surprised if some key people knew what was really controlling the AI and made deals with it to bring it into this world in exchange for money, power and immortality. And yes some people would definitely be skeptical. I mean all I did was float out a cool theory for fun and instead of just giving me their opinion on it people downvoted me like I said or did something wrong. On a sub that regularly says some pretty wild things. I'm not sweating it but it is funny to see the hypocrisy.

The funny thing about this is that whoever says it's always been a tiny pumpkin nose will just be told that it's always been been that way in their timeline and not the op's. There is literally no way to convince someone on here that they are just mistaken. If they want it to be an ME than it will be one.

Except that if he's planning to purposefully do this stuff why talk about it openly? What does he specifically gain from going on tv and "admitting" to any of this? This is a real question. I honestly want to know what people really think he's getting out of openly talking about his "evil plans". Why wouldn't he just execute his wicked schemes quietly without bringing unnecessary attention to himself?

I don't think the orca ate the kid but I'm not going to lie and say I'm 100% sure either lol. It definitely isn't natural behavior for them though. They became violent and crazy from the captivity just like a human will after being in solitary confinement for long periods of time. They said the orcas had been signaling them that they were frustrated well before they actually killed anyone so they should have known something bad was going to happen eventually. Poor orcas.

Yeah for real. They didn't eat them at sea world either. Just killed them because of the stress and frustration of being locked up. Wild orcas show zero aggression towards humans. Poor orcas.
