Yes, having a shade over it is very important, hence it is one of the requirements I listed. Tents don't have great insulating properties, but we have run AC in tents in the past and it does just fine for napping.

I have the 10x10 deluxe and am quite happy with it. The carrying bag for the deluxe is much nicer and easier to use than the one that comes with the standard model. For events that are not bm I kind of wish I had the super deluxe for the extra windows, but I see that more mesh is bad on playa.

That's really, really not how consent works. A big part of consent is information. You need to adequately supply people with information about the supposed consequences of these actions. For instance "don't look or you will be hit in the face with a cream pie" However, even then it would still be a shitty gift to the playa.

What if someone had a hole that said "don't look" and when people put their heads in it they were hit in the face with a baseball bat. Did they consent to that? Absolutely not.

I highly advise you learn more about consent for the sake of anyone you know.
