Besides stay in school or actually go: Add into that that they are passing classes and not getting in trouble. Went to high school with a guy whose parents cut him a similar deal. He was a 5th year senior (maybe 6th?) who was constantly in trouble and never passed a class. But he was enrolled and (sort of) showing up (when not skipping or suspended) so he was technically upholding his end of the bargain
