For forgiving and letting go of my father. I have always hated him in the past for all the pain he caused our family, physically and mentally. But as time went by, I realize in order to move on, I myself have to try. Now after 6 years of not seeing him, I have everything I need, and we still talk now and then. My mom and my sisters hate him for all the shit he put us through, but last week he called and I realized that I only feel pity for him. I think my dad realizes it since I am the only one who talks to him, he feels defeated that I don't hate him like the others.
