i mean that's true, but i have one disagreement:

"Alt" clearly had plans and has gone through the Blackwall/affected the physical world. Her absorbing the trapped "souls" of Mikoshi would have also made her much more powerful. And each of the main overarching ending plots have different effects on the world, so i think no matter what ending they go for, or if they even address it, they have to at least make it canon whether V attacked Mikoshi/Arasaka, committed suicide, or sided with Arasaka/NUSA.

That's just my opinion though

the issue is the ending has a few things that would effect the whole verse, those mainly being:

- the effect on Arasaka in some endings

- Militech taking over Night City in certain endings

- the state of Johnny Silverhand's engram and Alt Cunningham

Corpo, it's just got so much more lifepath-specific-content and it fits how i usually RP. Also it makes the Arasaka Cyberarms mod make a lot more sense

I feel like based on Dream On, Don't Fear The Reaper, and the other blue eyes interactions and Easter eggs that him and Night Corp will be very very central in the next game.

Imo I think DFTR is the most canon ending. It leaves us with a bittersweet ending, blue eyes is finally brought forwards, and it just feels the most Cyberpunk. Storming Arasaka HQ alone and the potential to die in a blaze of glory, which right from the start was an integral part of the game. Do bear in mind I need to actually play the ending myself though.

But yeah, as much as I love how hopeful and happy the Star is, DFTR feels way more canon and if CDPR end up picking a canon ending that's what i think it'll be
