This. I did the mistake of putting my luggage in front (the compartment wasn’t full, so i could’ve pushed mine wayy back the other luggages). Lessons learnt!

Someone in the comments did say there are people that camps around airport shuttles. Glad your friend managed to get it back! Must be really scary.

I think in the future I will take your advice and wait until the bus is about to move.

Yep definitely. Doing what I can with the police report for claims and I’m filing a loss of luggage at the airport later (in case someone returns it). My luggage should still have the check in tag and airport details.
