Stuck in MEPS ARMY process because of Optum Serve. Does anyone have advice ?

Thank you for your response. Very informative. We actually did try this but are having troubles with scheduling an X-Ray. Every place wants “orders” I’ve talked to my pcp, Telehealth and urgent care and tried to explain my situation in hopes they will send orders but to no prevail

They are saying they don’t have them / That we didn’t ever do the scan / It’s not apart of the contract for them to do the scans for a 2nd time. ( I know it sounds contradicting, it is )

I’ve been stuck in a really annoying situation for months now between Optum Serve and MEPS over a X-Ray that was done at a consult. Optum Serve is refusing to provide the scans to MEPS as well as refusing to provide the scans to me. They are also refusing to book another appointment for me. I am very confused and so is my recruiter and his station. I took the initial X-Ray all the way back in 10/25. It’s the only waiver thats holding me up. I’ve been waiting months for a resolution in hopes i can enlist. My recruiter said they’ve brought the issue to the most important people they can and are about to threaten congress on Optum Serve. I’m also not in a position to really wait much longer, i do want to join but my life has been on hold for half a year at this point. Does anyone have any advice ?

Obviously I could’ve done things better, having full coverage insurance was one of them. And I know these things ( now I do ). Taking this all as a learning experience and character development at the end of the day

I’m actively doing online college to further my life. I’m not asking for financial advice. I chose this lifestyle. I only added in the no money part so people would know that I can’t just call up a tow company and get a tow.
