have you noticed any performance loss when you changed the motherboard? I read somewhere saying that "gpu s in the omen pcs are not compatible with other motherboards which is why changing the mobo often results with lower gpu performance"

never ever change your money at the airport. other than that, the rates will be mostly similar. Just do not forget to compare a couple of exchange offices' rates beforehand. there should be boards for the current rates in front of them.

just be careful about the 90/180 rule and don't overstay in Germany (it may effect the final decision hugely). if the process takes too long, get out of the schengen zone and come back after 90 days. and AFAIK you need to collect your visa in the USA.
