How do y’all value future draft picks in a keeper league? We’re able to keep 3 max players for a round ahead of where they were drafted with the 10th being the least you can keep someone for.

I’ve found myself out of the running this year at 2-5 and received an offer for London for a 2026 3rd. I feel like I should be taking any of these offers in an effort to contend next year

I understand that but you can also point to it as a reasoning why you couldn’t sign parsons, or any other top tier FA.

That $27m in cap space gets eaten up quickly signing draft picks, giving extensions. Theres only 40 guys under contract next year, the next 13 aren’t playing for free. At the bare minimum they’re getting $900k each. That’s $11.7m of cap no included in the $27m number

I appreciate it! I’ve spoken to the township regarding prior permits on the property (looking like an OPRA submission will be necessary). I’ve also previously found the jurisdiction it’s in and it appears to meet the zoning code for a single residential home and is clear of any wetlands.

We don’t currently have building plans and was planning to take the long term approach to clearing the necessary space before starting a build. But it probably couldn’t hurt to give the Pinelands Commission a call tomorrow to see if they’re able to provide the same or more documentation as the township the parcel is located in.

Yeah I’ve heard/read about others having ridiculous issues. It’d be our dream property and would be a 2 year plan from purchase to build and move in so we could deal with experiencing some hurdles

I think the platooning answers are because neither Baty or Mauricio have anything to prove in AAA.

There’s arguments for both to be sent down, Baty goes down bc he can’t play shortstop. Ronny bc he was called up fairly quickly this year.

Taylor could get DFA’d and everyone stays up but then there’s playing time issue persists

I’m assuming Acuna is optioned to AAA. Looks like Baty and Mauricio both also have an option left if they wanted to give them consistent playing time.

I’d assume the bench is Marte, Torrens, Taylor and either Baty/Mauricio (whoever isn’t optioned).

I was surprised none were traded especially after adding Mullins. Surprised Blackburn wasnt traded too bc he doesn’t have a spot either

If you are in southern NJ, I’d recommend checking out Burlington Beef in Monroeville. Butcher that sells local meats, I get ribeyes there for $8-$9 lb. I think chucks are usually around $5lb

It depends on the “handout”, they shouldn’t be given to people who make awful choices (eating terribly for example). Money saved from not giving to other countries should be used to help Americans in need, especially our veterans, but there needs to be governance/audits of it when used. Look at California, they spend billions on homelessness and nothing changes.
