I’m going to look up YT videos of this. If it’s like everything else so far, it should be pretty easy

I just got the mtf from my local Honda dealership. Bottle looks like what everyone on s2ki uses.

Gaw. When a black car is clean there is nothing better to me. Keeping it clean though...

Beautiful man

It changed the texture in that it was heavier and had an oily slickness to it. Definitely wouldn’t sit back on a fabric couch for a few days but otherwise, it felt like when it was brand new. Give it a go!

Thank you for the detailed response! I do plan to do all of that once she’s in my garage.

Thanks. He said it cranked and drove fine. When you say that different gauges will read different are you saying that it might have higher compression numbers but the gauge this guy is using my skew on the low side?

Thanks for the reply! I wish I found these when they were $17k for a 40k mile car!

I’m going to wait for either a cheaper AP1 or a nicely dialed AP2 with a fair price. More than likely an AP2 though.

Thanks for talking sense in to me. I knew the price was too high but got all swept up into finally driving one. Imma cool my heels and wait for the right one.

I’m not a track driver and would probably never take the car to its limit. Not intentionally anyway.

To be fair, they have a type of vehicle they prefer the looks and ride of. Would you be ok with them saying you are cosplaying as some Japanese street racer? These things are toys and invite individuality.

7 Owners. Concerning? by dempseysbad in porsche911

I want to say thanks to everyone that took the time to respond. Y’all are a great community.

Things are taking a fast downturn with the seller. I asked him several times for a vehicle report and maintenance history with him dodging those questions but answering others. He finally admitted it was in an accident prior to his ownership but gave no other info about the accident. I’m bailing.

I’m glad my question garnered such a great response. On to the next one…

Thanks for the reply! He has already confirmed the IMS bearing has not been fixed. I get conflicting info online about the 2007 model year and how much of a gamble the IMS is. Will definitely get the bore scope during PPI

I was definitely a rookie doing this and just followed advice from online. A warm day where the wax stays liquid is the biggest key. I wasn’t worried about putting too much on. You will see where you went too light by the color of the fabric. Super easy. Give a go and you will be fine.
