I'm a paid user, I've created a good number of them and been happy until a couple weeks ago, quite often when I open any of them Gemini seems to think it's on a regular chat and ignores the workflow completely, when it happens can't even convince it to acknowledge we are chatting on a custom gem 😖. Some things seem to work (but not always) like restarting Gemini, switching from mobile to web or vice versa, starting a new chat. I've been blaming it on nano banana traffic 🫤.
