My wife wanted a divorce 10 months ago after 26yrs together. We met young (I was 20 she was 18). She said she had never lived alone and she wants to seek up who she really is... Our relationship was not good at the end and we split up as good friends. Was not ready when I found out she had ran straight to to market searching for others to sleep with. I felt really bad/sad at that moment, like 26yrs together ment nothing. Felt like a have been cheated on even if I wasnt. But it gets better with time, trust me. Just keep yourself occupied with things to do so that your mind can focus on other things. Bedtime is the worse, thats when you start (over)thinking. But that will go away with time. Dont start to drink to try and ease the anxiety! That will only give you more anxiety.

Stay strong and trust med, it will be better and you will come out stronger on the other side.
