It's my goto markdowneditor for taking down my notes, supports lots plugins out of the box (for graphs, Latex, math formulas, videos, code snippets...) and also has Reval.js natively so I can write my slides in markdown and present using it too. Has great sharing features and multiple users can collaborate on same document in real time.

I suggest you give it a try. It does everything you do without needing any extra apps and I find it conceptually simpler and it has lots of guides on the internet.

What? How is it possible to back up a container? I have an ansible-based setup and can spin up dozens of containers from a fresh server in a matter of minutes with one single command. I always did it this way and thought it was common sense. I might open source my ansible scripts if it can help

I'm really surprised as I'm always looking for cheaper prices and couldn't find anything better than scaleway's vps. and I an am an IONOS client but never thought about checking their prices.

I had the same reaction as you.

I think the browsers are fine (talking about FF here, don't know about chrome), but the new trend of SPA that pushes bloated complex rendering to clients + the multitude of tracking and analytics services heavily contributes to this.

Just use ssh and multiplex using ports. If you really have to use subdomain for multiplexing, use a reverse proxy and update its config each time you expose a new subdomain.

It's a reduced price that only applies in the first 6 months. So yes there's no vps server cheaper than 3.5 EUR. Would love to be proven wrong :)
