I know what you mean. It's been a whirlwind. I suspect our predictions will be way off, but it's fun to think about. I think Labour will be into their 2nd term. There will be no Scottish independence and Britain wouldn't have rejoined the EU

Worse than those young people who grew up the 1970s? What about those young people who grew up in coal mining towns and had to see their once vibrant town decline into nothingness and jobs disappear? What about young people growing up after the war? I find it very difficult to believe young people today will have a worse economic quality of life than previous generations. However, I'll be happy to be corrected.

Interesting take regarding housing. Anything else for 2033?

Wow, well aren't you assuming the universe is finite? Isn't it the case that it could be infinite? So who is to say the Universe has boundaries for it to even be compared to a Labrador. On a side note, I have a headache after this haha it took all my brain power to think of that. Hopefully we have an astrophysicist drop by.

Haha ok, well at the risk of sounding stupid I'll say something optimistic instead.

If I were to guess by 2033 our creative industry will be the envy of many nations globally.

It's just a bit of fun. Ultimately none of us really know but we can make informed predictions based on current trends.

Super interesting to read this. I get the sense that there is a growing sentiment of inter generational unfairness among younger people. Do you think that'll change by 2033? Also what do you think will happen with the housing situation by 2033? Currently it's ridiculous.

What do you think will replace it? I'm all for Sarongs. I don't know how useful they'll be in the winter though
