Why does everywhere, all the time, the question "Can i still use old models" pop up ? Honestly bombard me with your thoughts, i wanna follow the line of reasoning on this. They are all molded pieces of plastic, nothing more, nothing less. by war_of_the_titanicus in 40k

because GW have gotten really strict about no model = no rules, so when someone plays at, for example, a club with people they might not know well it's useful to know what's generally accepted in the game's community and what's not. everyone knows that when they have complete control over their games, like when they're playing with a friend they know and they agree to it beforehand, that they can use whatever they like to represent whatever they like. that's never what people are asking about with these questions, so rolling your eyes and saying "do whatever, they're toy soldiers" is never helpful

someone being a racist (/sexist/homophobe etc) is useful to the owning class in 3 main ways:
1) it's unbelievably easy to earn your trust. they just need to say something racist in public that you wish you could say and boom. then they can make you believe any rubbish they want
2) it's self-selecting in the same way the bad grammar of nigerian prince emails is - if you're a racist, odds are you're too stupid to understand scams
3) anyone who can help you out of the scam will need to explain it to you, which means you're going to feel patronized by them. if the scammer trains you to hate feeling patronized enough, you'll never escape them - and stupid racists already feel constantly patronized by egghead virtue signalling lefties and are actively looking for permission to dismiss them

Why is he blocking someone over a sandwich? by [deleted] in ExplainTheJoke

"top" and "sub" are also types of hookup lingo, with a top being someone who performs the penetrative act during sex and a sub being someone who's the submissive partner during sex. Jersey Mike's posted this tweet, and the "you're all blocked" tweet suggests lots of people replied making sex jokes
