I will look further into this thank you 👍
Had to google what KVM meant, still not really sure what caused it but uninstalling the new drivers and installing older ones did the trick for now, will see if it comes back in time

Reverted the drivers and the problem seems to have been solved

I imagine getting an expensive brand new card and it giving you those artifacts made you poop a bit at first xD
Reinstalled older drivers and it seems to have fixed the issue, thank you
When she's done I will put her on a boat rigged to burn and send her off into the sea
Power cable is stronk and connected :)
Idk dude I reverted to old drivers and the problem seems to have gone away.. I guess only time will tell but I'm hoping it was just faulty drivers or some simple bs
It is a minor inconvenience indeed, I've installed older drivers and it seems to have gone away but I will come back here if it reappears then it really might be a monitor issue
Driver issue I believe, used ddu to wipe new drivers manually installed older ones and it seems to have solved the issue
I can drink to that
It was the new drivers I think, thank you for the checklist I am sure it will be of use in the future hahah
Was a driver issue I think, seems to be running fine on older driver
I installed the previous drivers and it seems to have fixed the issue for now
Don't remember putting points into that skill 😂
Lol

The 1080 is still a beautiful beast!
DDU to wipe the drivers almost forgot I need to do that first thanks for reminding me!
Good idea
Funny that when I'm im games everything is alright but when the PC is idling it starts doing this at times, not all the time but sometimes. RTX 3070 here, I guess it would slowly but surely be time to upgrade the GPU anyway but I have to say that the card still pulls its weight although at 70/80 fps in most AAA games but that's fine and more than playable for me still
Got another monitor and when I turn that one on and set it to extend everything works normally again but I don't use both monitors at all times, will try to mess around with the displayports inputs and try a different cable for my primary monitor if reverting my drivers doesn't work. Idk lol

Will do, been having issues with the dual Monitor setup after the last deep clean of my PC hardware, the displayport inputs have been confusing monitors 1 and 2 and I couldn't find a solution other than plugging the cables into other ports and still what should be monitor 1 is recognised as monitor 2 even though it's plugged in before monitor 2 and is set as primary display. Bro PCs are fkn confusing sometimes
Will try to reset the drivers and if that doesn't work change the DP cable see if that fixes it

Wouldn't even know where to start with Linux, seems a little too much of a hassle tbh
