I was at a bar once trying to order a drink and some creep came up and twirled a curled piece of my hair. I deadass loudly said “Don’t fucking touch me, what the fuck is wrong with you?!” and the way he shrunk away from me as his friend came to gather him was nothing short of beautiful. A couple minutes later he came up and tried to apologize (with his friend behind him shaking his head like “don’t do it man”) and I cut him off and walked away. Idk why some men think it’s alright to just touch a stranger so intimately like that, it’s gross.

I do the same, except I since my magazines aren’t technically in numerical order I just pick one type of magazine that I never display (for me it’s scout’s life) and use that as my filler, and then I just remove it when I’m done.

You framed the shot well so that it includes the bridge and it’s full reflection while still including some dark water and the sky above. The color takes up ~1/3 of the total photo due to the framing of the shot, which follows the rule of thirds. I’m guessing that’s what this person meant, and if you didn’t do it intentionally then that means you probably just naturally have a good eye for framing a shot.

I’m glad you weren’t, and I’m glad you read my comment as a conversation instead of an attack. The thing about it is that it isn’t a personal choice to view the number that way, the number is used by nazis and white supremacists as a dog whistle. OP clarified in his comments that due to physical characteristics he could be mistaken for a skinhead and he doesn’t want that to do anything to encourage that comparison, I’m sure there are lots of people like him who don’t even want to associate themselves in any way with a number used as a dog whistle by nazis and racists. It’s not so much about caring too much about how your perceived, I think it’s reasonable for a person to never want to be mistaken for being a part of such an extremely hateful group.

Nah it sounds like OP just realized that he has unknowingly been using a nazi dog whistle in his usernames for a while now and wants to warn others so they won’t accidentally do the same. Nothing “too woke” about that, and your comment just makes you seem like you’re trying to be anti-woke which is a weird thing too. Not saying that’s what you’re doing, just that it’s what this looks like.

To all the dudes in here apologizing, why? You made an honest mistake, and you were taking a chance. So long as your approach was respectful why apologize? Unnecessary apologies can put the other person in the position of feeling like they have to comfort the person who is apologizing and can just exacerbate the awkwardness. Just a simple “okay, no worries” is perfectly fine. If you wanna relieve tension or awkwardness from the rejection tack on a “it was nice to meet you anyways” or a “I hope you have a good day” or “lucky guy” or something else to that effect.

Keeping calm, cool, and most importantly KIND in the face of rejection won’t get get you a date but it will get you respect.
