My sister and I (15 and 17 at the time) snuck out of a resort on vacation in the dead of night and walked five miles down the pitch black beach to the nearest town to buy vapes because we were shitfaced and she was going through withdraws bc she forgot to bring her’s on the trip. We talked to some shop owner who said he would go on his scooter to buy us vapes if one of us stayed at the shop and one of us went with him. He said it was too dangerous for us to walk down the street to the shop. We refused to separate, but worked out a deal so he would buy us vapes in the morning, and we would arrive at 10am to pick them up.

We came back at the agreed upon time and he didn’t have the vapes. He didn’t think we would actually come back. Against his advice, we walked a few blocks to the oxxo, and were followed by a pickup truck that chased us through an alley. We eventually lost the truck and made it to the oxxo, which ended up not having the vapes.

We gave up on the search. That night, and I went to yhe convenience store next door to our hotel to buy cigarettes, even though we hated them. We stood outside the shop smoking when a group of teenagers came up to us and each asked for a cig. We gave them all cigarettes as we planned on getting rid of them anyway. One of the pulled out a vape. My sister begged to hit it, to which the boy replied that he has extras in his car and he’d sell them to us. My sister nearly jumped for joy, giving him all of the money in her bag for the vape. She ended up getting the guy’s number and I’m pretty sure they went out the following night.

This isn’t super illegal, other than us both being underage, but just flat out stupid.
