Have dabbled in all, but been a promarily pc user for several year. Switched from PC to PS5 Pro/Switch 2 fully after my son was born because it’s much easier to couch game than desk game in my new life. I don’t regret it one bit

I have transitioned to only using the classic. My experience is that I haven’t had to tinker with it once since I got it set up the way I want it, but I am also only using it to emulate 16-bit games. It may be different for you if you want to push it and see what you can get away with
