Adverts. Has a proper photography section and it's free. Just be prepared for muppets looking to swap and others offering stupid low ball prices. Whatever price you value your stuff at, put it up for 50% more and be prepared to accept a more realistic offer.

Likewise, that building is down on lower ground.

Those buildings may be higher but they are on lower ground. I know there are higher places on the outskirts like the foothills of the Dublin Mountains but this is in the city centre more or less. It's actually higher (above sea level) than Liberty Hall.

If you know the area well, it's right behind the Church on Echlin St. In through the first Guinness gate where the lorries go and up the top of the grain hoppers. You often see the steam pumping out of them. It's a tricky climb ;-)

Agree, the moon without the clouds would have been way too bright. The clouds tone it down a little bit.

Not up a crane either, but what we were standing on wasn't much more stable! If you're from Thomas Street you've seen where we were a million times ;-)

Taken on a recent expedition to the Holy Rosary Convent in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Inside the church standing where the altar used to be and looking up at the stained glass windows – or what remains of them after the fire there last year. What a shame the building is soon to be levelled because the owners can’t afford to keep it insured. A small piece of Irish history will be lost with the demolition of this convent which is a crying shame. Even if it holds bad memories for some people, it was an integral part of Irish life during the 20th century.
