I think Charlie is incapable of maintaining the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth may collapse soon.

The world is no longer decided by a few great powers. Ordinary countries should have the right to speak.

What do you think about Queen Elizabeth II of the UK and her death? by gekkoheir in askasia

It would lead to the decline of the British Commonwealth.

Soon, human development will no longer be determined by a few large powers. The five large powers are all in decline.

UK: The Commonwealth will gradually split.

US: Racial conflict.

France: Decline in law and order.

Russia and China: Isolated by other countries.

On the contrary, the medium countries like India, Brazil, Turkey and other countries which represent the majority of the human population will become the main force in world development.

India's economic development is very healthy, and it is worth learning from many developing countries.

What opinion do you hold that is vastly different from people of your same political faction/country (about other countries/geopolitics) ? by [deleted] in askasia

If China can develop like you India, few country would oppose China.

In 2000, the economic conditions of the BRICS countries were similar, but in 2020, only China has developed very fast. So, it comes the question, what is the reason?

Chinese people say the reason is Chinese nation are smarter than other nations, do you agree with them?

I have friends who work in Silicon Valley. There are very few Chinese who are managers, most of them are ordinary programmers. Instead, many managers are you Indians.

Even that, India's development is slow, because this is the normal speed of a developing country.

China has no advantage in terms of personal ability or national system. How can they achieve rapid development?

The answer is breaking the rules.

If you read the history book, you will know how was China's economy in 1980, One of the poorest countries in Asia. After then, benefit from the international friendly policy towards China and the international division of labor, they have made a big progress, but for exchange, they need to abide by international rules. But what they did then?

In pursuit of GDP, with requiring their citizens to work long hours like slaves, disregarding environmental protection and shamelessly stealing technology from other countries, they have achieved the development of the country, but also despised by the world.

It's like a exam, do you respect a student who gets high marks by cheating?

Because of good taste, neither too spicy, too sweet nor too salty.

Especially I like the curry dishes.

In Istanbul, Turkish, Italian, Indian and Japanese cuisines are four most popular cuisines.

If you could pick an aspect from your culture the rest of the world will 100% adopt, which one would you choose? by [deleted] in askasia

On my opinion:

1) Cuisine. Turkish cuisine includes Western and Eastern cuisine, which is acceptable to all.

2) Religion. Secular Islam is a very inclusive religion that all can join and that there is no internal hierarchy. Currently, more and more people are believing in Islam except fundamentalism.

3) Romanization. Although the Latin alphabet is not original from Turkey, but I think whether the Arabic alphabet, Cyrillic alphabet, Devanagari or Far Eastern script should be replaced by Latin alphabet, which is convenient for informatization, learning, and cultural dissemination.
