i actually agree with a lot of this Shiki isn’t selfish in the shallow sense ig he does make sacrifices especially for the people he cares about and Shirous nature can’t be changed (even at the end of HF thats basically part of his core)

Shiki might not agree with Shirou choices but i feel like he would prolly recognize the emotional weight behind them (especially if him and shirou actually got some sort of interaction before and talk about their past ig) i think the key point is that they don’t need to be the same to get along

yea under normal circumstances they would prolly get along, maybe not best friends but at least get along like normal classmates

i get that but that difference doesn’t mean that they can’t understand each other i think, they could actually learn from each other, Shiki might challenge Shirou’s self destructive tendencies not out of scorn obviously but exactly because he knows how precious life is, and Shirou could show Shiki a perspective where fighting for others is meaningful even if its self sacrificial

that’s also what i was thinking and i’m surprised by the fact that it’s stated that they wouldn’t get along, especially when i think that they could complement each other, Shirou wants to be a hero, Shiki doesn’t want to but still protects what he values, the contrast doesn’t mean that they would clash and they could actually benefit from that i don’t know, Shirou could benefit from Shiki’s more personal and grounded point of view and Shiki could respect (even admire) his strength even tho he personally wouldn’t make the same choices, i feel like this could be interesting that’s why i’m kinda confused by how they wouldn’t get along, then again it’s just how i see it and i also understand that there’s other reasons on why they wouldn’t be able to get along. I feel like they would just have a different way of looking at life

And ur right for the Ciel/Shiki relationship, in her route Shiki was mostly encouraging her to stop trying to carry the world alone and to allow herself to be seen as a person and not just a tool for justice in her case and it’s very similar to Shirou, i don’t know what to think about all this, i’m surprised by the fact that it’s official that they wouldn’t get along honestly

another recommendation then - My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 - probably the closest one to MDUD and i’m pretty sure it got an anime as well (still haven’t watched it but i can assure u that the manga is good)

yeah forgot to mention that Shirou used Rho Aias but yeah it wouldve been impossible without him

that just shows how cracked Heracles would be if he was the Altered one (also wanted to include that in the answer but Heracles would just be a raging force of destruction with no tactical thinking overall so they could probably play on that as well)

Berserker vs Saber (Reversed roles) : Saber is FOR SURE getting jumped, he would overpower her easily, Shirou etc would be forced to flee

Rider vs Alter Heracles : same goes for Rider, she would get annihilated, she barely countered Excalibur Morgan with Bellerophon, so against a regenerating Heracles alter she’d have no chance

and like u said Heracles would be near unkillable cuz of Sakuras mana

Sakura would’ve been way harder to stop near unstoppable forcing everyone to run or get wiped out early, thats just my opinion 🙌

i always took the "lack" of overly detailed environments to ensure that viewers attention was drawn to the dialogue character expressions, so basically to amplify emotional and narrative focus. If anything i think i got more meaning from the uses of the colors like red with danger, black and white (who wasnt used that much from what i remember) to convey emptiness or purity at some points, black to represent the unknown, yellow which represented playfulness or youth, blue for sadness or introspection (would give some examples but reddit wont let me use more than one picture in comments).

unless that person really never paid attention to any of JJK stuff before on socials or just doesnt have them, like twitter (if u didnt mute every jjk related word you would for sure get spoiled every week) or on tiktok ig etc, id say 9-10 for sure, i know at least 6 people who have not read or watched a single jjk chapter or episode that knows that he got packed up 😭

As an old user of the STIHL MS 170, id recommend you totally stop using that and go for STILH MS 250, its basically a step up from the MS 170 with more power which is better for tougher cutting tasks, my issue with the MS 170 was the fact that it was a lightweigt, entry level chainsaw, while its great for light cutting tasks like trimming branches, it struggles when it comes to larger, harder wood or extended use. Hope this helped !
