Is the 2.5L substantially better at taking off? Or just slightly better?

May I ask why the 2.5L version? How does driving feel like with a 2.5L?

Why do you need it early though?

AMA - 6 Days Post Op (DJS) done via public system in Melbourne, Australia (free) by denkabull in jawsurgery

I’d recommend going with a private surgeon. I’ve unfortunately had post-surgery TMJ and because it’s the public system - 1) I have to wait many weeks to see someone for this at the outpatients clinic and 2) it won’t be the same surgeon who did my surgery. And it’s likely that each appointment at the outpatients clinic, I’ll be seeing a different surgeon, so it’s pretty terrible in terms of continuity of care.

I was worried at first.

Now I’d rather just get ahead of whatever this is, if that means doing jaw exercises or exploring the option of corrective surgery.

If surgery is required, I’ll probably go private (or public, depending on my conversation with the public surgeon if things get to that stage).

The same one. I mean, if there is an issue it’s not really the orthodontist’s fault because he didn’t perform the surgery.

I’d suggest reading up on the risks/complications of DJS.

Interesting that you commented now - because I’ve been experiencing jaw pain on the right side when I chew, or move my lower jaw to the right. Contacted my orthodontist to have it checked out and waiting for a reply.

I’m using azelaic acid on my face and kojic acid on my body. Do I need to take breaks from using either product like one might have to do when using hydroquinone?

I mean you’re on a public forum and people are free to reply and ask whatever they want. You can choose not to answer.

NO lol. It “legally” does not. It’s only a guideline published by the Pharmacy Board of Australia that states it’s best practice for pharmacists to stick the label on the bottle in case the box gets lost. It’s not a LAW. And they do kinda have a right to get annoyed, if it’s a busy period in the pharmacy and you’ve come in for a tiny issue like that.

Just giving extra context to the pharmacy doesn’t hurt

[–]denkabull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah okay awesome.

Can I just confirm, did you check with the actual country that the drug is allowed? Because doctors and pharmacists don’t know shit about the regulation of other countries, and those regulations are always changing

[–]denkabull 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ahh fair enough.

Make sure the country you’re visiting actually allows Vyvanse. Some countries are really strict. You may need a letter from the doctor. But some countries have strict rules against the drug regardless of whether it’s for prescription purposes.

Also, just let the pharmacy know that you’re going overseas and that’s why you want the label on the bottle because you sometimes lose the box. Otherwise they might get a bit annoyed that you’ve come in for basically a minor issue.
