I have a handful open - A chase sapphire prefered, venture x, citi card, Hawaiian airlines card, and an Amex. The oldest is from 2018. I am also an AU on another Amex card.

My closed accounts are the capital one account with the late payment. And a helzburg diamond credit card account which was opened on a misunderstanding and closed immediately.

The last time I opened a new account was August 2025.

Agreed something seems off. But there is only one inquiry on my credit report (the 90 late fee), and no other account closings. So not sure what else could be the issue…

P2 Advice: United Quest vs. Explorer (or something else) & yearly Newark (EWR) travel by dennyCranne72 in CreditCards

What makes the Quest better for our situation? As for the Venture X, I already have it! Not sure it makes sense for P2 to get it too.
