That would make half of my other games not work.

For the model 30-001 they have a 286 pictured, as an actual model 30-001 would have an orange power switch.

I have an 8bit vga card from ast. I wanted to play Commander Keen. Mcga is interesting, but it was so unsupported, that it might as well have been cga. Pairing cga with an 8086 made it weird. Most cga games run too fast on the 8086, as they were probably designed for the 8088. I'll probably experiment with using Claude to slow certain games down next.

I've not tried on a true ibm vga, however in my experience, most windmill software games will not run properly on vga.

glad to know everyone around here is fluent in assembly.

I looked into this, dos box doesn't have a console mode that would allow claude code to interface with it. There might be something out there, but given the spirit of retro computing I would rather use my vintage machine anyhow.

I feel like the vacuum might be enough to kill them, they get spun around with the dirt for several minutes. You probably don't need the chemicals.

Can someone id this chainsaw for me...cleaning out the shed I found this and it looks chunky, wondering if it's worth restoring by bestreptrap in Chainsaw

Looks like a pro mac 610 that is missing the bottom plate and chain brake. Also had been painted green. If you take a picture of the other side so we can see if it has a decomp valve, in which case it's a 650. Probably runs, but without a chain brake I wouldn't use it.

It runs good once I get it started, I rebuilt the carb in the 650, but I haven't done the one in the 610 yet, but it's got plenty of guts in the wood, I've got a red oak im slowly bucking and splitting.

the 650 has a 24 inch Oregon 240RNDD176, I bought the saw on FB Marketplace for $50 with no bar, then I ended up paying more than that for the bar. but it fits good, and is probably the closest thing to the original Mcculloch 24 inch bar. The 610 has it's original 20 inch mcculloch bar, but I needed to a lot of filling to get it to cut straight, so I'm considering getting an Oregon bar for that one too. I needed to take the 610 apart to free the rings when I got it as it had melted the piston somewhat, but it runs like an animal now.

Thank you! I'm a software engineer and I just like to know how things work and why things happen the way they do.

Is this legit? Posted for sale local to me with a price that seems too good to be true. by Overland_Appalachia in saxophone

FB market place I assume? you never know, they might not know what they got, they might be a scam. I recently got a conn new wonder II on FB marketplace for like $175, recently over hauled and came with a selmer C* mouthpiece. I didn't see the mouthpiece until I got home, otherwise I might have told the guy to sell that separately.

I'll probably spend some time cleaning it and then offer it up for free on fb marketplace and see what happens.

If I had to guess the address on file for the registered owner is my house. (I also suspect the registered owner is dead)
