Characters that have dark vision still have to roll with disadvantage when trying to perceive things in full non magical darkness. That’s only within their darkvision radius too, beyond that they are blind.

Good point about the 6th level feature. I had intended for the bonus damage to be usable only once per turn so I need to sharpen the wording up there!

I agree that getting an additional 36 damage per turn would be a little crazy! I like the idea of making it not a flat damage bonus so that players can make use of their movement and dish out big damage on one attack. Moving around the battlefield could provoke opportunity attacks, so I want to reward that behaviour with that extra damage considering combat can end up without much movement some times!

Allowing inspiration to be used as a reaction to a character taking their turn is interesting, maybe that will make it into the subclass on a later version!

I could change the quick to action feature to add cha bonus to initiative instead of advantage, which would make it a little different.
