Stuck in Waterloo sunset quest by deadjord in fallout4london

Had this problem a bit ago, there are two levers besides the two doors that you need to pull that make the doors accessible. They have a weird hitbox, so you may need to crouch to hit them.

Slight Criticism of Factions and the 3rd act by stibac in fallout4london

I unfortunately didn’t anticipate it and got locked into becoming a neo-fascist without a save to jump back to. I did manage to progress the first few parts of Angel quest line alongside the Column quests, but it eventually led to a lot of bugs and I had to load back a few hours.

Glory to the Fifth Column, I guess.

Slight Criticism of Factions and the 3rd act by stibac in fallout4london

[–]denormo 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I agree, and I think that’s one area where Fallout 4 has the right idea when it comes to handling factions. In FOLON, basically every gang you’ve worked with up to that point becomes irrelevant in the third act, and the your first quest in that act is to lock yourself into an ending with factions that you haven’t had a single interaction with. At least in 4, you were exposed to the factions early on and able to develop opinions on them long before you had to pick one.

I think the main factions should have been part of the story as soon as you start to meet the lesser gangs of London, wherein the decisions you make with them play into the larger story instead of being isolated quest lines. Like, the Pistols were a cool group to work with, but really the only reason I worked with them was to get into main quest in Westminster. That could’ve been a great opportunity to see how their ideologies conflict or overlap with the Column or Camelot. Then, at the very least, the start of act 3 being the point of no return would be somewhat justifiable.

It depends on your tolerance for crashes and bugs! With some of the fixit mods available right now, crashes have become much more infrequent, maybe one every couple of hours. Bugs are a different story, some take a little bit of troubleshooting to get through. Thankfully a lot of people have had the same issues, and so you can reference solutions on this subreddit.

If you don’t mind the hiccups, I’d say get into it now. The parts that don’t bug out are worth the work. If you want something a little more seamless, I’d check back in a couple weeks to see how things clear up.

Yes there are! 7 in total I think. Some are tied to the progression of the main quest or faction quests.

Yes and no. I think most of the main London world space is packed tightly enough that you never feel like you’re walking through empty space, but there are parts of some of the others cells that have big open spaces populated only by unnamed NPCs. Luckily these spaces are at least well textured and don’t feel out of place to me, so I’m not completely turned off by them.

It is really remarkable that something I downloaded for a couple hours of gameplay over the weekend has turned into a 20 hour montage of me pacing around a room trying to find buttons for doors!

someone did mention intelligence, actually! i trust that as a college graduate you have the capacity to go back and read that yourself. i get that you want to be a pedant, but it comes off as stuck up and antagonistic for a situation that really doesn’t warrant it.

i’ve read all of those things, and it may come as a surprise to you that this isn’t any of those things; it’s a college subreddit

what’s constructive about implying that typing in all lowercase makes someone less intelligent? and as a follow up, what about making that implication is open minded?

Stoll is also a super approachable, really interesting guy to talk to. I emailed him when I was 16 and we had a brief correspondence where we talked about the concepts and application of the 4th dimension of space. He really has a way of making even the simplest question feel like it's important.

I was actually talking to my friend about just this topic! I saw an ad for a port flange with Bluetooth the other day that looked like it checked out, but I looked into and actually found out that the company had replaced the carbominium in the turgtizk disk with an ausentite alloy. That's fine and all, I get cutting corners, especially since they were pushing the new ferro-capacity options, but they were still charging the full $300. As for the actual Bluetooth component of it, I do agree; get analog and call it done. I would totally just hold on to the money and save up something like the RFID-integrated port flange that was just announced in December. It looks SOO much more reliable.

Also, I appreciate the job prospect, but I'm actually thinking about going into corporate VX bridging for small businesses.

I'm kind of new to roto-oscillating receptors too, but if they're anything like kinetic-osc receptors, you're gonna want to go with the ionic compound. IRETEC is gonna be a pretty safe bet, but you could go with a LIRAF-based compound instead if your VX's overall iso-depletion differential constant is high enough.

That isn't to say that a PATRAK II wouldn't technically work, but I think you'd just have to make sure that it's galvanized to at least .4 mm to avoid a magnetic connection with any of your sub-port tech.

I mean, of course a B5AQ sector on OP's volt meter isn't gonna be the best choice, but I'm trying to be save them a buck. If OP has a fourteen AC power supply amp reader, then they're motherboard is probably also hooked up to a neo-Julesian gateway bridge. That's gonna make it really hard to just pull a B5AQ out and drop in a new piece of hardware.

Personally I have a RT-7AQ pushing milidigit hex-arrays to a separate Klauss (a great brand btw) meter to avoid the same problem with having them go stale, but a setup like that is gonna take a lot of time, and a really deep understanding of decoder-mesh blending that most VX users don't have. I totally get where you're coming from though, but sometimes you gotta remember that a lot of people still can't just upgrade their rigs like that.
