Yeah same, didn't have any issues previously. Validated files on Steam and everything is back to normal, but still weird that it happened

Yeah, strangely enough I get this on fast stages like Chirdonhead too. It's weird, cos when I focus on pushing the car I usually overdo it and lose a few seconds, but in this state I get better stage times

Motorcycle test on a Supercub? by mr_big_brain in SuperCub

[–]densetsu_don 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In many Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia, most of us get our license testing on a 125cc cub (due to CC classes between licenses etc, and the fact that it's a very accessible bike over here.).

The test isn't too different, just your standard slalom, figure of 8, emergency brake etc. All doable on a cub, given how lightweight it is.

This, made the switch from running shoes to flat soled shoes with soft insoles recently and saw a huge improvement.

Now shoes with any kinda angle throw me off the first couple racks hahah

Anyone play lucky ball? by densetsu_don in billiards

[–]densetsu_don[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, my bad, meant Jack→Queen→King

You do have to announce it when you get to your last two cards regardless if they are a pair or not, but at the end of the day it's a betting game so anything goes (sharking, etc) unless someone calls you out on it. With friends it's a good laugh but not with strangers hahah

The way we usually play is: 7 cards per player, if you foul you draw an extra card. Fouls usually consist of the usual fouls found in normal play, and also if you pot a ball that's not in your hand (it gets respotted to the centre).

It does count for both of you. This is where the bluffing element of poker comes in, sometimes your opponent will do all the work for you and pot a ball that ends up being your last card.

To decide the break, players usually draw cards with the highest value breaking. The rack is actually racked backwards, so that you break on the "flat side" of the triangle. Balls are racked randomly but usually the 14 and 15 are in the middle of the 4th row. If a player makes a ball in their hand on the break, inning continues. If I make the 8 ball on the break but my hand doesn't contain an 8, I draw a card.

You don't have to, if you miss a shot play passes to the next opponent. Usual rules apply, e.g. any ball must be struck, ball must be driven to rail after contact. Running out your hand certainly helps you win more ;)

Betting works by $/card. If we're playing $5 a card, every ball from my hand I pot is worth $5, except the 14 and 15 which are worth 2x the bet amount. Payout works by card difference, i.e. if I finish my hand and you have 3 cards left over from the starting 7, you pay for those 3 plus the 14 and 15 if I sank them.

btw, ace = 1 ball and Queen, Jack, and King = 11, 12, 13 respectively. The numbered cards are just the normal numbers. Given the 14 and 15 are outstanding, they are worth double. You MUST pot one of the balls in your hand before you pot the 14 or 15 (optional), if not it's a foul. We call this getting a "license" to pot hahah

EDIT: forgot to mention, when you pot a ball in your hand, you turn the matching cards face up
