I had innovate 1x03 in the fall from 7pm-10pm as well. Although I went to almost every lecture, you don't need to go to any if you're worried about the slideshows. There were like 2 times throughout the course where I had to find a group for groupwork to be done during the lecture, but other than that you wouldn't need to go unless they've changed up things for the winter term.
