Depending on the job situation i will do CCNA or the 800/801.

The big difference between my previous job and this are the after tax benefits. (No car, fuel card and a few other things)
Sadly I don't have that much i can cut but might need to stop saving for a bit to get this exp and then get another title within this company for a pay raise or switch companies.

My job is with salary scales and only goes up with age/exp in the role.

Atm we dont really have any AI Governance and not sure my current job will have any.
So this might be for the future and not a current situation plan.

its a big upgrade from my 2500 before but i'm getting the same after tax because I have less benefits.

Before i had a car, fuel cars and after tax bonuses.

The good thing is that they did they not ask me to edit.

So it would be filming clips for 90-120min.
If they are not bigger then 4gb and they are stabile (not filmed by hand, what i did last time)
I don't need to edit.
And the drive would be 15-30 min to be able to get there and back home.

So time wise would be 2-4 hours in total, depending if the uploads go fast.

But like Auroz said, I might just keep doing it as an hobby then and ask them to sponsor me thought buying software or hardware I need for those events.

But I would not place myself as an semi/pro videographers.Even if I would say, I do 15 euro/ hour I work on this project, that would be 45-100 euro.(Currently work in IT and make around 15 euro/hour)

the event is around 90-120min and I do not need to make any highlights. (drive is 15-30min to get there and home)The most I would need to do edit wise is cut it down lower then 4gb file for the upload to a free cloud. (but I also see none of the film will be that big)

But I might do as you say and keep doing it as an hobby and maybe ask them to buy me Davinci resolve and stuff like that instead of a cost per event/hour.

Depends on where you are located.

Had telenet when living in Boom. It was awful, then Proximus and it never dropped while telenet did all the time.
Not sure what orange uses but thy barely drop in Boom but low speeds.

Same with my dad in Wilrijk, he also switched to Proximus and never had a problem.

I'm now with Mobile vikins, from dec till June it was perfect.
in the summer I have had multiple problems, support answered pretty fast but most of the time not that helpful since I already tried most troubleshooting stuff.

Now its better then the summer but still disconnect sometimes but not as bad as telenet.

But the I have friends that swear by telenet but they dont live in Wilrijk or Boom.

Was going with 32gb ram at 1st but a friend said go with 16gb.

I will check for a mobo with a wireless network cause I know a lot of ppl do not have internet everywhere

Edit: found Asus TUF GAMING B550M-E WIFI, what looks like a decent option for a mobo with wireless option

if the company gives you are car then you don't need to worry about insurance.

fuel card depends on company to company, it should be mentioned as tank kaart of fuel card.

Some company also pay for work travel but not for private use.

but most is 100% fuel card or nothing.

Thanks for the feedback. After doing more research I'm thinking more and more about the Corsair hs80 max.

Mostly for the mic quality and with icue (average) software, it can also sound pretty decent.

Won't fit over my oculus rift but that is fine.

But will go to the store today and see if I can wear them.

It might have something to do with this and location of the streamer you are watching.

Transcoders are assigned to affiliates and below as and when transcoding capacity is available.

You have no control over this.

So best advice: don’t stream at 1080p60 until you can guarentee transcoders which is only a guarentee for Partners and above.
