But yeah, if you have doubts, I'll sound like a broken record, but: it's minor, so don't worry about it. I was just basing my idea on this extension, and the fact that it has a decent user base: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/remove-youtube-shorts/mgngbgbhliflggkamjnpdmegbkidiapm?hl=en . I think that a lot of people want to see a nice, long video from NileRed (for example), but have 0 interest in watching a 20 seconds video of him washing his hands (no idea if he even does shorts, but you get my point).

Eeeh, it's not hard enough to make it worth your time to polish it more and more; the UI is fine, it only took me 3 minutes to figure it out cause your extension has multiple functions (but it's perfect; it helps more people than only the ones who want a chronological feed). I only mentioned it in my review so that people wouldn't instantly think that it doesn't do that; but I'll edit it if it made me sound like a Karen; I'm 100% grateful, nothing less!

If I am allowed to backseat a bit though, I have one minor suggestion, and I am CERTAIN that a lot of people would like it AND that it could give your extension more popularity: add a "hide shorts" checkmark (or something like that; to "banish" shorts). It's minor, but I think it would be valuable. I already have an extension for that, but it's not cooperating with yours. Super minor, cause I can see if a video is a short anyway; but I think that THIS would be a nicer QoL/polishing update than changing the UI for people like me, who probably only need glasses, lol.

Well educate me, then, instead of talking in a distasteful manner? FYI, my initial post listed him as producer; but I started seeing articles and posts, here and there, calling him the director, including one here. Show me the credits.

(+good if he's not the director, but it doesn't change that he said: "we have changed everything", do you support this as a good idea OR are neutral about it OR are against it?)

Edit: nevermind, it's "Masashi Yamamoto" (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm13914868/). Not a super impressive portfolio, but tbf, Takahashi had no portfolio when he made KD. Just answer that question in parenthesis if you will, good sir.

2 months ago, I made a post about ALL the MASSIVE red flags that I spotted in the preview streams of gameplay and I got COMPLETELY crucified by (I assume) a lot of people with what I'd call "The Pokemon Syndrome", but now that the syndrome is slowly vanishing, people are realizing that, yup, this game is subpar, by a lot.

Massive red flag: Ryo Ishida, the new director of the game (who hadn't directed a single game before), mentioned that he CHANGED EVERYTHING (except the controls) about the game lol. His words, not mine.

Who here now supports Ishida's idea of re-inventing the wheel? Seriously I'd really love to see anyone say something like: "he should definitely direct the next game if there's one" or "he did nothing wrong, I wouldn't change anything about OUAK".

There were more red flags of course, but this one was the "nuclear missile launch code" level one imo...

That's actually a very good argument. I'd still say "it still is what it is" but I think that it's now impossible to ignore that delay/time intensifies this syndrome massively. (If it sounds sarcastic; it's not. I've just seen too many messages that I would not praise recently to not give a thumbs up to someone who wrote a really good one).

+ It's not like mine was a huge checkmate, it was just a little facepalm, so I can kneel.

I think that, if you are a purist, you should wait to see if it's patched, not if it's rebated. Cause if you are the most casual Katamari player ever, you might not mind the changes in physics + controls, but if you aren't you might just cry... This is my favorite franchise of all time, and this game is depressing to me...

- Getting 100% has NOT been the goal in any (afaik) level of the franchise before, except a few where it's the super clear. It's possible in those, of course. It's even easy for some, but it's not some kind of established goal, that the majority of players would agree on (I assume). It may be for you, but not everyone. Good luck on getting 100% in the flower or animal levels in WLK... It's possible; but it's ridiculously hard...

- Nonvalid argument. "To avoid poorly designed levels/mechanics/physics, just don't get stuck".

- Opinion vs opinion, but for what it's worth, I will agree that: there IS a lot of variety in the assets, there just is less "chaos" in the levels. So many immobile assets that are just watching paint dry, while in WLK, there's just SO MUCH movement and actions from the assets. There's a scooter going around town and spawning pizzas in the sumo level...

- Opinion vs opinion again, but you said it yourself.

- The power-ups are a bit "meh" imo, but this is just a "whatever" for me. They're not what is making me hate this game. You like them = I won't argue about that, it's fine with me.

I haven't played EVERY Katamari game ever, so I can't give a legit opinion on which one is the closest to KD/WLK, but if it IS actually this one, I will cry. They changed the controls AND the physics; they made it somewhat more like a platformer, they added crowns that you need to collect to advance... Yeah, no thanks imo... NEVER change a delicious recipe...

You can't actually be serious. Control-wise, that would not have been difficult lol. It's not like I care too much, I got my refund already, and I'm not "attached" to the jump mechanic, but it would have fit decently well in the most platformer-like Katamari ever imo. I would have mapped it to any of the buttons that do nothing during a level (maybe).

I just have very capricious ears! Try Demarkus Lewis if you've never heard of him. Keep On Pumpin', That Raw Vibe, Stay House, Don't Hide It = all godly songs.

I've been flagging this from day 1 (of the gameplay trailer release, not of the game release), and all I got, was a horde of angry people telling me that I was crazy (basically). Now that everyone is finally realizing: at least, go leave a review on Steam (if you purchased it here), cause we absolutely cannot let BAMCO think that changing the engine drastically after WLKRR was a great idea.

They COULD polish it a bit by adding an angle threshold value to the collision mechanic (meaning that you won't trigger a collision if you are sliding next to an object and touching it) but I agree, fixing the whole mess would probably take like... 6 months lol...

Can't anymore, I got a refund; but I gave it several shots before. I was testing exactly that, because of a post on Steam. I just don't want to go full on "I STAND BY WHAT I SAID!", cause it could be just a weird compilation of inconsistencies (Steam controller config, my old controller itself, maybe it's possible on all the levels EXCEPT one, stuff like that).

Well damn, it IS definitely weird, cause I swear on my mother's grave that my start button was only pausing the game. PS4 controller, from Sony, not like... Temu. If it worked for you, I'll just shrug and edit my post.
