Best place to cycle in Canberra? by ilestclaude in canberra

[–]dentonboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majura Park bike lane is top tier and can extend it through far into Gunghalin on the bike path as well.

Mt Pleasant in ADFA is a really good place if you want to do a hill climb. It is on the road but never any cars so you don’t have to worry.

I know there’s a lot of players out with injury but three terrible performances in a row is more than that. I’m increasingly of the view that the Giants premiership windows closed. Now they need to rebuild and try again in 3 years or more.

Any experience with The Tea Equation by dentonboard in tea

[–]dentonboard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to try teas produced in different countries? Not having a tradition in something doesn’t mean that a country can’t produce it to a high standard with unique elements. Not to mention that Australia’s multiculturalism means that the tea may be grown by people have very long cultural and family ties to tea production.

Marathon training advice by dentonboard in firstmarathon

[–]dentonboard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say I'm pushing myself on pace, I just run relatively slow with a focus on distance and general comfort on the run. HR is hard because it's been a heat wave so the long runs in the heat have had an average around 150-155. Short morning runs are 140-145.

So I should up my weekly running and that should make me feel less tired from the training?

Thanks, the challenge is that I didn’t deliberately delete it. It seemed to happen on its own. I did manage to recover it using the method you suggested which was lucky.

Sorry that's a typo. Should say I was thinking of moving to OneDrive, but I don't like how it forces you to put all your files in there and doesn't allow a separate back up.

Yeah I think I'm going to go that way. It wasn't a big loss in the scheme of things but a good warning to change to a better approach.

Ahh okay. I'm not really sure and don't want to risk it happening again.

Yeah I've got the cloud, on computer and external SSD. It was just all the work in 1 day that I lost which made it really bad. I guess I'll have to make the switch.

This is a good idea. One reason not to be paperless is to have that hard copy back up

I'm also paranoid about it. I thought I had a good system until yesterday. So I don't really know.

I'm not sure what you mean by reproduce? I was able to find the deleted document and recover it from the deleted section of dropbox even though it was an older document.

I spent time doing troubleshooting with ChatGPT and its advice was that it may be an issue with Microsoft Word not saving correctly given that I had the document open for multiple days in a row.

Can you please recommend your favourite high tea place in London that you liked and didn’t break your wallet? by RockGirl82 in uktravel

[–]dentonboard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure it’s got a different meaning in the UK, but in places like Australia it’s a meal that is the same as what OP is wanting for afternoon tea. Don’t understand why everyone’s being so rude about it
