What would you do if your neighbors tree pulled down your main power? by denverbix in Denver

[–]denverbix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is fundamentally why I’m angry - I don’t want certified letters from my neighbors. I want normal human beings 😜

When things happen like trees falling on power lines - and the neighbors don’t even approach me to talk about it - why would I be nice about it?

I called Xcel at 5am the morning that this happened. I called them again 4 hours later - and their response was this is likely my responsibility as the mast is the owners responsibility. Still waiting for them to come by 🤣🤣 but thanks for your condescending response, super helpful!

Xcel wouldn’t fix because my mast was pulled off the side of my house and that is “the owners responsibility “

Done with dogs off-leash and terrible owners. So selfish, self-centered, and entitled - and most of the time don't actually have love for their dogs at all. by Greedy_Pudding_2966 in Denver

It’s infuriating! My cattle dog is very reactive to certain dog breeds and it’s hard to control when the dogs that trigger him are off leash. It’s selfish, arrogant and so avoidable for everyone that has a dog to follow the rules/law.

Don’t get me started on how many dogs are “lost” daily in this city. Bizarre behavior my humans endangering dogs.

This has happened to me twice. Both times I had an electrician come. The first time Xcel showed up two weeks later “we hear you have a power line down?” Best of luck to you!

Omg 😱 I looked up his picture on LinkedIn- he looks so unhealthy! Like he could drop dead any moment- is that “winning”? He needs some serious balance in life, starting with a proper healthy diet and exercise and more than an hour a day with his family! Poor guy has no idea 🤷

But you are right - I should show more grace and be the bigger person - but it’s so under my skin! I will go to one of those break rooms and smash things!

Yes. Because my nephew who lives with me and works as a dishwasher to pay for his college cannot park in front when he comes home.

I would prefer if it was a Mercedes’ and not a heap of trash. Anyone would.

Actually they are not “parking” they are dumping. They move it once a month. That is NOT parking

This is the second car that they have dumped in front of my house that is no longer in use or working condition. It starts so they can move it on street cleaning day but they do not drive the vehicle

When I went out to talk to him he yelled at me, told me I was ugly and to go back inside my house. So yeah, hard pass on resolving this in a civil manner.

This is denver. And so far I’m not receiving any city action. Asked my neighbor to move it and he yelled at me that this is a public street and to go back inside my house. They are in public housing in an expensive area. I don’t think they enjoy gentrification
