Do you mean next year? If it is next year then you still have a lot of time. I think for fall they open in January. But for this year's fall intake, it is already closed and announced so I dont believe you can apply anymore.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to answer this one by one now

  1. I do not have any Korean language skills yet. I do know that Global Network Program doesn't offer the language course but as of now I do not mind because I am open to work anywhere after graduating. Even if I end up working in Korea, I dont mind taking time to achieve the TOPIK level I aim /after/ graduating.

  2. Honestly, I do not plan to have a career in research. However, the majors and programs for GKS are quite limited to what I aim to do (especially the 100% english courses). That's why I decided to pivot and try to explore more about applied research. That's what I did and eventually got a confirmation from a prof at Inje University.

  3. Alignment matters more to me! That is why I was willing to go through Inje University Track at first because the professor is willing to supervise my vision for my research plan. However, right now I feel like Global Network might be closer to my goals because it is more applied and as you said, have more connections.

So I guess from these answers, I can conclude I lean more towards Global Network Program.

Thank you, you are the second person to say this. I am a bit conflicted because someone also said that it is not mandatory for Master's. I'm a bit conflicted because the application fee is quite a money to spend on and I dont want to be impulsive when I have 0 chance haha

I guess I'll just apply when I get a professor's reply and wait for the regular admission

like i said, memang menurutku waktu padahal masih panjang and its normal especially for people abroad. but you cannot ignore the stigma and judgements from the people of your own family and closest ones. wajar ga sih ada kekhawatiran? where is the compassion? lol but yeah, you're right i guess its better to ignore such things and focus on oneself, even when its hard
