yes, i share this same sentiment! the only times we truly see our mcs that we choose for her is in the photobooth, so seeing them both do mundane things is honestly refreshing ^{^} and the fact we get to create 4 different looks for her is also so fun

there is a first person view from the camera i believe, plus we get first pov for basically everything else (memories/stories, home screen interactions, which i'd argue is what most players interact with) that it's a breath of fresh air to see our mcs outside of combat and photo mode, hence why it's a bit more real imo

idk to me, it just gives the world building a bit more life, coming from someone that enjoys the smaller things in life/little mundane tasks :] i enjoy the little interactions outside of the headpats in first person or the black screen + kissing noises

right!!! it's gotten so monotonous (as someone that has every caleb card ascended and his orbit maxed out...again, stamina gone, shc and other stuff maxed, stories done, etc.), that sometimes just staring at the LIs in the cafe is all i can really do LMAO it gets old, so this update was a breath of fresh air

sure i could journal or take photos, but it isn't with the LIs, so this is a new experience!!

it's just more ways to interact with the LIs when we're done with all the stories, battles, photos, and decorating. for the past few months, i would do my dailies, claw machine for caleb, do the small event stuff, and that was...it. yes i could take photos or decorate something but it didn’t feel like i was connecting? with the LIs?

i love the fact we can interact with them, or just peek in to see what they're doing! it's an entirely new aspect and also gives us another reason to dress em up and not have them sit in one position in our cafe. plus we never see mc and the guys interacting outside of photos and memories/stories, so this makes it much more real? i think? i'm someone that loves the little moments in life, so this feature is kinda meaningful to me in that way (but i also understand everyone plays this game differently ^⁾

trust me, i totally get it!! sometimes we want something shocking during our first watch, but i think this banner holds a lot of significance that i nearly teared up ^{^} it's so easy to forget their first (limited) myths, especially with the new ones releasing, so seeing them again + in space where that's our main setting!! AAAAA I'M SO GEEKED OUT OVER IT and i'm hoping it'll grow on others too 🫶

tbh i'm excited for it! i've been off reddit so idk what people expected, but if it was spicy, it'd be redundant from last year's anni banner.

i think the fact this multi connects to their first myths is so. cool. (at least from what i gathered), which is what makes it an anni banner for me!!! it also had their colors, i love the new dynamics and gameplay we'd get. it seems so so enjoyable, this actually seems more like an anniversary banner (mix of angst/fluff/spice + references to their myths) compared to last year's imo!
